In the Astoria section of Queens, NY Hells Angels biker John Giampetruzzi -- a resident of Glen Cove on Long Island -- was shot at least five times in the face early Saturday morning as reported by Kevin Deutsch and Joe Kemp for the Daily News: "Neighbors said the gunman - who is still on the lam - approached the heavily tattooed biker, pumped his face full of lead and stomped on his head before walking away." The shooter apparently did not care much for the victim. The police at least know the shoe size of the perpetrator who "left bloody footprints" at the scene as reported by The New York Post.

He also may have been blackballed from the hells angels, and one guy just may have got his membership by doing the job. What I hear is there is no clear way of getting in the club. Some guys have gotten in for taking another guys wife to a doctors appt.

Actually, I figured the perp was a freeper who didn't want to hear that he used the wrong caliber, aimed at the wrong body part, needed to go to the shooting range, etc.

years ago, I took a scuba diving class and one of the other students was a member of one of the 1%-er MC clubs—not the Hells Angels, I believe he was a Bandido, although it could have been one of the others. 6-4, must have been close to 300 pounds, tattoos, the whole bit. We never had a problem, and ased on my limited interaction with him, he seemed like an okay guy. I wouldn’t have wanted to cross him, though.
