At a recent fundraising event, not only did President Obama state that prosperous Americans don’t “need” to keep so much of the money they earn, he also attacked the group Americans for Prosperity. It wasn’t just an off the cuff remark, either. He devoted several paragraphs of his speech to disparaging the group, trying to make them sound like the arm of shady foreign corporations out to destroy the American dream. He even threw in another dig at the Supreme Court.
"Right now all around this country there are groups with harmless-sounding names like Americans for Prosperity, who are running millions of dollars of ads against Democratic candidates all across the country. And they don’t have to say who exactly the Americans for Prosperity are. You don’t know if it’s a foreign-controlled corporation. You don’t know if it’s a big oil company, or a big bank. You don’t know if it’s a insurance company that wants to see some of the provisions in health reform repealed because it’s good for their bottom line, even if it’s not good for the American people.
A Supreme Court decision allowed this to happen. And we tried to fix it, just by saying disclose what’s going on, and making sure that foreign companies can’t influence our elections. Seemed pretty straightforward. The other side said no.
They don’t want you to know who the Americans for Prosperity are, because they’re thinking about the next election. But we’ve got to think about future generations. We’ve got to make sure that we’re fighting for reform. We’ve got to make sure that we don’t have a corporate takeover of our democracy."
Hmmm. No mention by Dear Leader of the groups that helped get him elected...

I don’t recall President Bush EVER talking like this during his 8 years. All we ever hear now is attack mode and campaign mode. It is very sad.
This, coming from a guy who received $$$ from foreign contributors which he has YET to disclose.
I thought the same thing. I never heard him attack his opponents in such a personal manner. Do you recall Robert Gibbs going off on Rush Limbaugh? Imagine if Bush did that?

And missy spent close to 500,000 of that on her trip with 50 of her friends/family. 10 percent of your total wealth on one trip? Yeah, sure they are paying for it.
There is such a double standard in the media; they turn my stomach—probably more than the administration because the media is supposed to be the TRUTH KEEPERS. The media is supposed to be DEFENDING DEMOCRACY. Instead, they aid and abet the regime in the deceit.
He has failed miserably and is now desperate to convince as many as possible that he has not. Now see how he’s throwing money at his problems, welfare, teachers, Federal workers, unemployment bennies... he’s trying to appease and pay off his base but at what cost? He is stealing billions from the next generation to do it, just so that no one sees he’s a failure.
I bet Obama can check their status through the IRS, if he really wants to know. But he’s more interested in accusations than truth anyway.
better ask yourselves why Democrats love such an anti American that they made him president..
Well I guess the Kenyan Clown Amab0 believes everyone else should live like Willy Loman in Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman.
Yet, has anyone noticed that this clown lives pretty well and is not part of the proletariat, plus wants everyone else to redistribute their wealth…oh no but not him. Let’s see how much he is worth after leaving the White House on the salary he makes. We’re just waiting to see how much of a true believer he and his family really are.
