White House Insider: Pelosi and Obama at War
NewsFlavor ^ | October 7, 2010 | Ulsterman

Nice to see you again – so you indicated you were given the “green light” to shed some more personal details regarding past events involving members of the White House and Congress. Who gave you that green light?

I won’t say anything more on that specifically beyond simply stating that this individual is no longer burdened by the requirements of their position at the White House. So yes, I was told I could speak more freely now, and that is what I intend to do. I’m happy to do it in fact. And I’m happy to see some more people quietly coming forward also.

Well, you do realize that what you are describing points a very possible finger at Rahm Emanuel, right? He has just left his position at the White House.

That is your position, not mine – and don’t expect me to clarify it.

(snip)

Rahm Emanuel left the White House willingly, but he was also under strong suggestion to leave. He has not been a dominant figure in the West Wing for some time now.

He was the White House Chief of Staff – how could he not have been a dominant figure? He has been marginalized. Pushed aside. Even his direct access to the president was reduced more recently. It happens. There is always an ongoing fight to gain the ear of the president. Rahm lost that fight, and now he is gone. If he hadn’t left, I am certain he would have been forced out, which would have been no easy task because the guy is a fighter.

Who marginalized him?

Good question.

Thank you – but do you have the answer?

Sure… (clears throat) It was mainly three people. Valerie Jarret, David Axelrod, and Michelle Obama.

Think about this for a while!

The day Vera Baker was sent into exile by Moosechele, Obama changed. His was no longer as happy, as open or as engaging. Obama knew Vera cared FOR HIM and would direct him with his best interest at heart. Moosechele is ruthless and directs Obama with a cattle prod!

>> Moosechele ...directs Obama with a cattle prod!

Well, yeah, but only when he’s been a good boy.

Bambi LIKES that stuff, you know. :-)

I find it interesting that the “most powerful man on earth” is being or has been jerked around by so many women (Mom, Grandma, Oprah, now Michelle, Valerie, Nancy, Hilary). It really helps to have a Dad around during your formative years, doesn’t it?

Did anybody get the sly reference to House of Cards. One of the best series I have ever watched. I loved it.

Who marginalized Rahm?

Sure… (clears throat) It was mainly three people. Valerie Jarret, David Axelrod, and Michelle Obama.

Mayhap Rahm was the only voice suggesting that MO's antics/vacations/shopping sprees/parties were hurting the pristine image of the 0bama Administration.

The Beverly Hillbillies lived more modestly than she.

Indeed. Hitler and Stalin's little dustup come to mind as well.

----------------------------

Right, could be we see a 'Great Purge' along the lines of Stalin's in 1936-1938 (purge of the Party ranks). I think Hitler's was in '34 - it included business leaders, I think.

I’m appalled that the White House treated her in such a way. I’m appalled at how this White House has treated so many Democrats. It is simply unacceptable. So if Speaker Pelosi finally decides to fight back and fight for Democrats against the Obama White House, yeah – I respect that. I respect it a lot. Good for her. I sure as hell don’t blame her.

Word to the wise - Popcorn futures

Very good read. If true...this is very good news. It means they got rid of the guy who was actually trying to give them some good political advice...and elevated the people who are running BHO's little ship into the rocks.

That means there for SURE won't be any Clinton readjustment after the midterms (not that I expected it from a narcissist)...and BHO will continue to be a policy disaster.

2012 here we come. With an almost 2-1 Dems up for reelection in the Senate...we could easily get 60 votes.

Hillary vs Sarah vs any other candidate debates will be extremely interesting. Hillary took the Sec of State position for many reasons and this is one of them. She will come out strongly favored in my opinion (By the azz kissing Media). I don’t want to get flamed BUT She’ll have the media and the creds....
I can’t stand the hag for what it’s worth...I’m just sayin...that is my initial perception after reading this which by the way is an amazing read.

I want to know who this person is...

One comment which was not followed up is why the source thought the lame duck session would be so interesting. Hasn’t it been agreed that no legislation would be rammed through?

Good people, good Democrats, are being tossed aside like so much trash – and this White House DOES NOT GIVE A DAMN. In my eyes that is absolutely unforgivable. You just don’t do that to your own people. And some of these politicians are talking. They are – but for the most part the media is ignoring them because they don’t want to hurt the administration. To that I say enough! Do your damn job. Report what is going on within the Democratic Party. We need to clean up this mess, and it starts by getting the truth out there. That is my motivation.
