“Sarah Palin: The most qualified presidential candiate of 2008 hands down. The rest of them were just mere senators.”
Agreed 100%
She is disparaged by pundits and DC connected pols precisely because she is competent, and connects with the people, and therefore powerful in her own right, and ... this is the most important ingredient, she is 100% not corrupted by money and power. It's the last fact that motivates each and everyone of the people who bad mouths her. If The Usurper, a complete empty suit, can go without scrutiny, and yet she is criticized for being lightweight - whereas in reality she is so heavy weight that elites are scared to death of her. Yes, but Perspectives is sold out. It’s been a pretty big deal in Sacramento for about 15 years.
Along with Sarah, Howard Dean will be there, along with a couple of feel-good dudes.
Tom Sullivan of Fox has been the MC since it’s inception.

Oh, thank you very much for the information, dear Norge. I was just about to call my son in the area to tell him to attend for me! LOL.

Unfortunately, no. My granddaughter is coming in from South Carolina tonight for the weekend, to be with her sister at UC Davis, and Grandpa gets to be included in their joyous get-together.

“Where I come from we call that bait.”
I wonder how many of these come out of her cute little head. I think, like Reagan, they probably do.
I remember the one press conference he gave, and the environmentalists were slamming him to do more. And he says, off the cuff:
“These people won’t be happy unless the White House is a big bird’s nest.”
I think she definitely has the same sense of humor....
BUT THIS IS NOT SURPRISING IS IT FOLKS? UNLIKE THE IMPOSTER IN THE WH, SHE’S ONE OF US, AND BEING AN AMERICAN YOU’RE BORN WITH A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR.

“Bait” is an old joke, but her application of it to the insane situation in CA where a little fish is preventing people from getting water is timely and a great tie-in to local issues.
You can tell that she has been studying Reagan’s very effective use of humor, learning from the master.

Excellent. These remind me of one of the greatest movie scenes ever with Rodney Dangerfield in the Econ class of “Back to School”, and its ending:
“Not withstaning Mr. Melon’s comments, the next question for us is where to build our factory.”
“... How about Fantasy Land?!?”
Perfect.
