You know Harry Reid, right? He's an incumbent Democratic Senator who is running for re-election in Nevada. He's facing Sharron Angle, a Republican challenger, who is currently in a dead heat with him. You see, I'm a little confused because there must be another Harry Reid who said the war in Iraq was lost, because this Harry Reid now says he never said that.
According to Reid's campaign site, Republicans and Sharron Angle have lied about his actual quote. On his website, they contain the "real" quote: "The war cannot be won militarily. It can only be won politically." According his campaign, he said that March 3, 2007.
What's more, Reid has taken to Facebook and Twitter to defend his comments, writing that what Ms. Angle says is a "LIE" (yes, he wrote in all capital letters) and that she was making things up.
Well, that's really weird considering that this video here shows Reid saying, quote, "The President knows, this war is lost:"

You know, I could almost swear that he said the war is lost. Especially during the part where he said "this war is lost."

Was he a liar before he was a schmuck or vice versa...Lying schmuck looks like it will stick, though. Especially since the audio evidence is clearly there.
You can bet just for saying that the members of the Talk Radio Mafia will have it aired to remind him.

Reid is part of the Obama-Reid-Pelosi Marxist Troika that showed us doing the government healthcare takeover debate that they believe the American people are to shut up and abide by whatever their slave masters say. So, if he says he didn’t say it, we are to nod and say, “Yes, massa. Shaking here boss.”
There has got to be a recording she can play over and over.
Harry Reid, you piece of crap, there is video and audio evidence that you said those very words “ the Iraq war is lost “ you deserve to lose the election you liar.
Yes, but lamely trying to divert attention with the “Angle lied” charge was a nice touch, no?!

The old media used to be able to get away with crap like this but this is a new era where these lying bastards cannot hide from the truth.
