If kids were allowed to go out and play like kids are supposed to, they would shed a few pounds. Also, turn off the TV and the computer and take away all the video games. It’s not what thy are eating, it’s lack of exercise.
Oh, don’t you remember? “It takes a village”!
Let’s start with your kids Shelly. Let’s have then weigh in weekly so WE are sure they aren’t getting fat. Can’t trust their parents to feed them right can WE.
Thus, she explains to the nation what a marxist wench she is. Guess what Michelle, I know what I can feed my kids and what I can’t. I don’t need you or your hubby telling me what to do!
A more realistic one might be:
“First they came for the movies and rated them”
“Then they came for the video games and rated them”
“Then they came for the music and rated them”
Not entirely the same I suppose, as those ratings can serve as a useful guide to what a parent will take/let a child watch.
But...I can imagine a day when a kid won’t be sold an item due to it’s “unhealthy” nature. Oh, they already do that with booze and cigarettes. Makes it even less of a jump to energy drinks, junk food, etc.
Well, maybe in the case of obviously overweight kids it would be okay for the merchant to refuse sale of certain items. /s
I bet when Barry throws those muslim parties at the WH he makes his kids wear burkas.
