My wife is only a few years younger than I am (mid 30s), and she didn’t know who George Harrison was. This group may not have the staying power the boomers think.
Shh, don’t spoil their nostalgia! ;)
I don’t know about that. This morning I was listening to this guy on WABC radio called Crummy or something (I’d call him Crappy) and he was actually making fun of Bing Crosby’s “White Christmas” rendition. There will always be people who don’t understand the past; but there will always be keepers of the flame who will never let the greats of yesteryear die.
While your wife may not know the name of George Harrison I’m sure she’s heard of the Beatles, right?!
My 24 yr. old son just bought the newly released complete collection of all Beatles CD’s. He then downloaded every song into his laptop.
