News Flash: RINOs will try to re-elect Obama in 2012

(snip)

Candidates, whether RINO or socialist liberal Democrats in 2012 from those other New England states as well as others nationwide will be targeted, not only by the TEA Party groups, but the general public who were just getting warmed up in 2010 when they caused Obama to cry out that they, the liberal Democrats, got “shellacked”. It will happen again; mark my words. The public is finished with extremist liberals.

There have been rumors and whispers of a possible new home for disaffected RINOs and liberal Democrats to form a what is privately being called a “centrist” third party. How in anyone’s imagination ANY liberal or RINO could be termed as being centrist, is so far out of touch with reality as to be a non-starter. Those types are not known for their stability or staying home. So ‘centrist’ or ‘shotgun’ may be thrown around a lot in the coming months.

As Ben Johnson states in “FLOYD REPORTS” ‘RINOs Plan a Third Party’. “It is further evidence some RINOs would rather wreck the Republican Party and let Barack Obama cruise to a second term than share “their” party with its grassroots activists.” He goes on to say however, that “Their likely beneficiary is New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, the Democrat-turned-Republican-turned-independent… whose multi-billionaire’s financial heft – and that alone – makes him a viable national player.”

NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s office “went to great lengths” to help the developers of the proposed Ground Zero mosque, including drafting a letter addressed to the community board on their behalf. The New York Daily News reports: A flurry of emails released by City Hall revealed Hizzoner’s brass coached the Imam pushing to build the mosque, Feisal Abdul Rauf. At one point, Community Affairs Commissioner Nazli Parvizi even drafted a letter for Rauf’s wife, Daisy Khan, to send to Community Board 1, which was voting on the project.

Perhaps it's the Mayor "making nice" to Muslims in hopes that they might be deterred from more terrorist acts in NYC.

Hmmmmmmm.....sounds an awful lot like Neville Chamberlain-----now discredited by history.

UK PM May 1937 to May 1940. Chamberlain is best known for his "policy of appeasement" toward Hitler, and for his signing of the Munich Agreement in 1938, handing over the Sudetenland region of Czechoslovakia to Nazi Germany.

Is Bloomberg handing over Ground Zero to Muslims?

Bloomberg’s only a RINO in the sense that he stopped calling himself a member of the Democratic Party in order to get Rudy’s imprimatur on his candidacy. :’) In 1971 Mayor John Lindsay switched from Republican to Democrat in order to pursue the 1972 presidential nomination. It may be wrong to extrapolate from those two switcheroos separated by 30+ years, but it appears that in NYC party labels mean little. Thanks justiceseeker93.

1. Bloomberg is not a registered Republican. He just purchased the nomination. (Bronx GOP county committee got like 50K. I think Queens got the best deal with a new office and money!)
2. Bloomberg would not take votes away from a Republican. He is an elitist liberal from NYC.
3. I'd say competence is his keay selling point, but he seems to be following Mayor Lindsey on the current blizzard. Manhattan is poorly cleared and the outer burroughs are buried. Not completely his fault, but he'll be blamed.

Possibly it's more a matter of "making nice" to the Muslims in hopes that they might be deterred from more terrorist acts in NYC.

Doubt it. I think he's an Islamophile, to some degree.

I remember that before the attempted Times Square bomber was IDed and caught, the megalomaniac midget bleated that the near-bomber could be anyone. Even someone disappointed in the new health care deform bill.

Thanks rmlew. He’s got the money to buy his reelection, and the lib power elite of NYC and the region will fall in behind in support of him.

Don’t see how ‘Bammy loses in 2012.

He has been the best thing for DC since the New Deal. More power has accrued to DC in 2 years of ‘Bammy...than in the previous 234 years put together. He has ‘gifted” away more of our treasure to his henchmen and supporters than all other presidents in history put together. That represents a reservoir of “goodwill” that will find absolutely NO major players in US or International powers on the other side of him in 2012.

Unless there is an absolutely unprecedented grass roots, highly motivated groundswell in Flyover Country that generates hereto for unseen numbers of voters AND the institutional corruption of the vote that characterizes many Red States suffering Blue representation is dealt with ahead of time, he will be insurmountable.
