Is the world's largest super-volcano set to erupt for the first time in 600,000 years

Is the world's largest super-volcano set to erupt for the first time in 600,000 years, wiping out two-thirds of the U.S.? (Full title)

The super-volcano beneath Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming has been rising at a record rate since 2004.

It would explode with a force a thousand times more powerful than the Mount St Helens eruption in 1980.

Spewing lava far into the sky, a cloud of plant-killing ash would fan out and dump a layer 10ft deep up to 1,000 miles away.

Two-thirds of the U.S. could become uninhabitable as toxic air sweeps through it, grounding thousands of flights and forcing millions to leave their homes.

Cue Mr. Buffett

Now I don’t know
I don’t know
I don’t know where I’m a gonna go
When the volcano blow

Chorus:
Let me say now I don’t know
I don’t know
I don’t know where I’m a gonna go
When the volcano blow

Ground she’s movin’ under me
Tidal waves out on the sea
Sulphur smoke up in the sky
Pretty soon we learn to fly

Chorus:
Let me hear ya now I don’t know
I don’t know
I don’t know where I’m a gonna go
When the volcano blow

Now my girl quickly say to me
Mon you better watch your feet
Lava come down soft and hot
You better lava me now or lava me not

Chorus:
Let me say now I don’t know
I don’t know
I don’t know where I’m a gonna go
When the volcano blow

— Spoken: “Mr Utley...”

No time to count what I’m worth
‘Cause I just left the planet earth
Where I go I hope there’s rum
Not to worry mon soon come

Chorus:
Now I don’t know
I don’t know
I don’t know where I’m a gonna go
When the volcano blow

Chorus:
One more now I don’t know (ah he don’t know)
I don’t know (he don’t know, mon)
I don’t know where I’m a gonna go
When the volcano blow

But I don’t want to land in New York City
Don’t want to land in Mexico (no no no)
Don’t want to land on no Three Mile Island
Don’t want to see my skin aglow (no no no)

Don’t want to land in Commanche Sky park
Or in Nashville, Tennessee (no no no)
Don’t want to land in no San Juan airport
Or the Yukon Territory (no no no)

Don’t want to land no San Diego
Don’t want to land in no Buzzards Bay (no no no)
Don’t want to land on no Ayotollah
I got nothing more to say

Chorus:
I don’t know
I don’t know
I don’t know where I’m a gonna go
When the volcano blow

Chorus:
Just a one more, I don’t know (he don’t know)
I don’t know (I don’t know, man)
I don’t know where I’m a gonna go
When the volcano blow

First the mass animal deaths

Easily explained.

53 eagles in Philly.
53 Falcons in Atlanta
53 bears in Chicago

The Packers did it!

‘3. Betelgeuse goes supernova wiping out the world.’

I would worry more about this than anything else.

But, even so, I doubt it would actually wipe out life on Earth. The Big B is very big, but, not that big.

Not quite. EMP generates from Compton Scattering, but HERF is direct fire.

One might even say this might be ... The day the world changed forever.

But, but I thought that occurred on January 20, 2009! You know, when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal!

Please keep in mind that extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. Now: 1) I gather you are unaware of a hand held unit that when aimed at a concrete block wall allows our troops to walk through the wall.

2) And a Start Trek sort of phaser that when on maximum setting leaves not even any ash.

I want to see proof. Your word is not good enough; nothing personal, but I don't believe you.

Acceptable answers: 1) A link to the device on a trustworthy website, Rense doesn't count. 2) A couple of videos of either device working; yes, I realize it's easy to fake so if they're from the DOD I would trust them. Again, Rense, and other whacko websites, not acceptable.

Unacceptable answers: 1) I've been doing this for 20 years and I saw it with my own eyes. Yeah, and I saw bigfoot, what, you don't believe me, I'm crushed? 2) Websites like: Rense. Disinfo Anything associated with Alex Jones. Your own website, self sourcing is unacceptable.

So, lets see your proof; no proof then we have a word for that. I don't want to violate the TOS but you know what I'm talking about.

Help yourself

I don’t give a big flying rip about your addiction to a TYPE II ERROR.

I love jangling sensibilities that are wedded to fossilized constructs with puzzle pieces if find plausible.

I love jangling stereotypic ignorant boxes folks tend to put me in.

Beyond that, check the ideas out yourselves or have your jaws break the sidewalk when stuff is outted in a rush in a crisis. Not my jaw at risk.

Strange map; a lot of those western blue areas are over 6,000 feet above sea level, yet nothing along the Columbia & Snake systems are blue; nor is the Great Lakes system.

Niagara, NY, is less than 700’ elevation. Albany, on the Hudson is only 300-400 feet above sea level; and even Troy is only 500’.

Bismark, ND, far up the Missouri River, is only about 1,700’, yet NONE of those areas are shown as “submerged”.

What's the rationale?

In other words you have no proof. I’m shocked.

Spare me your type 1 and type 2 errors B.S.

You spew a lot of words but let me tell you, quality over quantity, especially when the quantity is simply ridiculous drivel.

If your so concerned, prove it so that we all can be saved. I’ll wait.

To be honest, I think you’ve been pulling people’s chains and you don’t believe this woo. If you do, I fear for your mental health and I’m not kidding.

You must not have been paying much attention to the weekend web panic. Betelgeuse to go supernova this year! Two suns in the sky at once!! Gamma ray burst requires SPF 6 billion!!!

Then some of the saner voices came in and explained how far away Betelgeuse is and that it won't destroy us.

Dr. Phil Plait's Bad Astronomy blog talks about it, along with the award winning lines "As bad as that was, it got worse when The Huffington Post weighed in, adding their own nonsense to the story," and "instead of going away, it gets picked up by that bastion of antiscience, The Huffington Post. "

Hey, according to scientists there is a 100% chance this volcano will let loose sometime in the next million years. We’d better get ready.

I wondered about that, too.

The only plausible puzzle pieces I have to speak to that is a chunk of them claiming that there’s going to be a LOT of MAJOR land changes including major sinking of some and rising of some.

The Bible only hints at such.

And, like many prophecies, things are usualy crystal clear only after the fact.

NM high desert is a mile high as is Denver. I’d just as soon stay that high! LOL.

Actually, I’d rather be removed on the first ELEVATOR !UP!

Naw. You are welcome to stew in your own ignorance.

If you have no respect for the fact that a TYPE II ERROR is as POTENTIALLY DEADLY AN ARROR AS A TYPE I ERROR

then there’s probably nothing God Himself could tell you that you’d believe

Enjoy your confidence in your own construction on reality.

It’s half life appears to be decreasing rapidly.
