It shouldn’t surprise me the new levels of hatred that conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh finds each week for his radio show or that there is an audience out here who actually finds him credible.
Like a bully last week, Limbaugh took aim at America’s First Lady Michelle Obama. The former-fat guy criticized the First Lady’s efforts to curb childhood obesity by pointing out her diet and criticized her “Lets Move” campaign which encourages youths to eat more fruit and vegetables and to include exercise in their daily lifestyles. How pathetic, Rush.
Like many, I admire the First Lady and believe she’s an inspiration for women around the world. The First Lady has brought elegance and style back to the White House, a combination that’s been missing for decades. She is counted among the 10 best-dressed women in the world and she’s been compared to former First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy due to her sense of style. While Michelle Obama does have access to designer clothes, she’s shown ordinary women that they can shop stylishly from off the rack. The First Lady has brought color and vibrancy to the White House.
The former-fat guy then pointed to the White House Super Bowl party menu as ammunition. Stop! Rush.
If you live in America there’ are basically two very large feasting days — Thanksgiving Day and Super Bowl Sunday — and you tell yourself you’ll control your eating through both. Indulging in either of these events doesn’t contradict the First Lady’s message on fitness, because she’s advocating a lifestyle change — the Super Bowl is a makeup day.
I’m a midwesterner, as is the First Lady, and Super Bowl Sunday parties here in Wisconsin include food, beer, chips and friends getting together having fun. Let me tell you, if you’re invited to a Super Bowl party with wings, burgers, pizza, and bratwurst on the menu, it’s a step up.
Stumbling further into his hater attack, Limbaugh said the First Lady doesn’t project the image of a “Sports Illustrated swimsuit model.” Let me see, the basic requirements for being a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model are that you must be really young, super-thin, be able to pout and stick your butt out for cheeky pictures, and be able to wear a skimpy swimming suit.
The First Lady is a mother of two young children and wife to one of the most powerful men in the world. At age 46, Michelle Obama is fit and she bears her sculpted arms as proof she’s energetic and that she operates on a much higher intellectual level than Limbaugh. A college dropout who flunked all of his classes, Limbaugh is proof that a minimally functioning brain operates on a scary level.
So to the haters: First Lady Michelle Obama is a Princeton University alumni and a Harvard Law School graduate .... try to obtain it if you can. She’s brought style and elegance back to the White House. Women strive to be her and she’s become an inspiration for millions of women of color around the world who share sisterhood in her ebony beauty. Believe it.
In today’s society where women are often the feeder for bad jokes, conservative talk-show insults, and degrading rap lyrics, young girls have a new role model …. one who’s setting standards across the board.
Now roll with it.
Remember, they’ll always be former-fat guy haters and conservative talk show fanatics out there who hate any progress made by women, but to your comfort, just remember they’re operating on a minimally functioning brain level.

I just feel sorry for the next Republican First Lady. Or First Gentleman, as the case may be. The Democrats and the media will rip him or her apart.

Moochelle is “elegant” in the same way a pilot car with a “wide load” sign is elegant.
Jackie Kennedy and Laura Bush has/had more fashion sense in their little finger than Moochele does in her whole body.

I don’t think that those numbers are far enough apart. MObama should have received one-tenth of that amount, and Rush deserves all that and more.

Oh my goodness.
I just couldn't bring myself to read past this. Reminds me of the expression *If you throw enough crap against the wall, some of it will stick*. No matter how often they tell us that she is "elegant" I'll NEVER believe it because my eyes and brain tell me something different.
