by posting an excerpt in order to drive traffic to his blog?

Obviously something is going on, as this blog isn't on the excerpt list.
Why the excerpt?
No... it’s blogger etiquette, plus a copyright violation to post his whole post (or anyone’s) here.
Excerpts only, that is what I’ll do with any link I share here, anything else would be rude, in my opinion.
That said, I could have made the excerpt a little longer. You know if FR didn’t want you to do it this way, they wouldn’t give you the excerpt option. I don’t think it puts anyone out to click over to the original story.
