Was Obama an Indonesian citizen? [Evidence raises concerns over presidential qualification]
WND ^ | May 08, 2011 | Aaron Klein

Evidence continues to mount that President Obama was adopted by his Indonesian stepfather, Lolo Soetoro, raising concerns over his presidential eligibility.

Obama's American mother, Ann Dunham, separated from her first husband, Barack Obama Sr., in 1963 when the president was 2 years old. Dunham and Obama Sr. are reported to have later divorced.

In Hawaii, Dunham married Lolo Soetoro, an Indonesian, in 1965 and moved to Indonesia in October 1967.

Divorce documents filed in Hawaii on Aug. 20, 1980, refer to Obama as the "child" of both Soetoro and Dunham, indicating a possible adoption in the U.S.

Jerome Corsi’s new book, "Where’s the Birth Certificate?", is now available for immediate shipping, autographed by the author, only from the WND Superstore

The divorce records state: "The parties have 1 child(ren) below age 18 and 1 child(ren) above 18 but still dependent on the parties for education."

The records further identify the "oldest child" as "in university."

"Mother resides with youngest child in 4-bedroom house provided by mother's employer," continues the divorce documents.

The documents identify the minor as Obama's stepsister, Maya Soetoro.

So, being a witness is irrelevant?

There is not a single whitness who claims Obama was born in Kenya.

What’s a whitness?

I think that may be racist.

You don’t have to prove anything really, it’s the QUESTIONS that are far more important than the answers...

Bombshell: U.S. government questioned Obama citizenship
Said it lacked documents to determine birth country

The U.S. government is on record questioning President Obama’s citizenship status as early as when he was 5 years old, stating it lacked documentation to determine his citizenship, WND has learned.

~SNIP

‘Nothing on file’ to document Obama’s citizenship

Before that, immigration authorities exchanged queries about Obama, with one noting questions about Obama’s citizenship.

One critical exchange is dated August 21, 1967, from Sam Benson, an officer at the Southwest Immigration and Naturalization Service office in San Pedro, Calif.

Benson’s query stated, “There is nothing in the file to document the status of the spouse’s son. Please inquire into his citizenship and residence status and determine whether or not he is the applicant’s child within the meaning of Section 101(b)(1)(B) of the Act, who may suffer exceptional hardship within the meaning of Section 212(a).”

The reference is to the Immigration and Naturalization Act, which defined a “child” as an unmarried person under 21 years of age who, among other qualifiers, could be a “stepchild,” whether or not born out of wedlock, provided the child had not reached the “age of eighteen years at the time the marriage creating the status of stepchild occurred.”

A response to Benson’s inquiry came from one “W.L. Mix” of the central immigration office, who determined Obama was a U.S. citizen.

Mix replied: “Pursuant to inquiry from central office regarding the status of the applicants’ spouse’s child by a former marriage.”

“The person in question is a United States citizen by virtue of his birth in Honolulu, Hawaii, Aug. 4, 1961. He is living with the applicants’ spouse in Honolulu, Hawaii. He is considered the applicant’s step-child, within the meaning of Sec. 101(b)(1)(B), of the act, by virtue of the marriage of the applicant to the child’s mother on March 5, 1965.”

The files do not state how the office determined Obama was born in Honolulu.

I’m not sure what to believe, but I am certainly open to about any possibility. There’s been too much mystery surrounding this subject to feel confident one way or another.

But, I do find it interesting that in 2004, an article was published stating Obama was a Kenyan while running for Senate.

Where's the mystery? The only people who are in a position to know, namely, officials at the Hawaii Department of Health, say he was born in Hawaii. End of story.

That some second-rate newspaper reporter got his facts wrong in a story doesn't mean anything. Reporters make mistakes all the time.

Wow! How did you find that? I thought everything had been scrubbed. Funny how, back then when people made references to him being born in Kenya, he never disputed it.

We all have our opinions. It’s an end of story for you. But, not for me and I’m interested in reading more. If you don’t believe there is any mystery, why do you waste your time reading these stories?

Even those who are not truthers think Obamas reaction to this subject is suspicious. Many can’t udderstand why O has not released his school records, prior passport info, and why has he spent so much money in attorneys to fight off those who want basic information. Please, I’m not a ‘truther’, but I do want the truth. And this subject has not been resolved at all. In my eyes, there is the same mystery as there has always been. Yes, a mystery. Glad you are so confident, Glad you feel there is no mystery. But that is you, and you don’t speak for me or most of us on this thread.

Take look at this memo its like I said they refered to SAD as a U.S.C (United States Citizen) that was common immigration parlance..also the memo is signed unlike the one the one by Mix. Memos are supposed to be signed at the end of the body of the memo per the INS administrative manual.(does not let someone add language-we need a copy of the manual/policy)
Notice when further info was added it was initialed...
These two memos supposedly came out of the same INS office in Hawaii...

I think the inquiry came from Central Office and Hawaii Disrict responded via Mix...Hawaii would be able to talk to the persons involved, it would be interesting to see where Mix was working on that date...

Looking closer at that it looks more like Mix’s memo is a fake, If Benson made the inquiry form Soutwest Regional Office in San Pedro, CA why did Mix reference an inquiry from Central Office (Washington D.C.) interesting..details details..

I can’t answer that, all I can do is SHOW you how it appears to have been ‘established’ - it’s what I think of as a Round-Robin...based on one unsubstantiated item, going full circle, proving absolutely nothing...clinched by an unidentified child placed into the custody of a woman to whom relationship has not been proven...
