“What sort of financial gains?”

Who knows? In politics money changes hands in mysterious ways. It smacks of conspiracy theory for sure, but not out of the realm of possibility.

George Soros has a lot of money and a lot of contacts. I could imagine an intermediary brokering a Newt presidential run with the sole purpose of helping Obama. Newt has proven that his number one goal is to help Newt. For the right deal, Newt would make the run.

But as dirtboy pointed out, it’s more likely Newt is just totally out of touch.

Hopefully he will do the honorable thing and get the hell out of the way EARLY! (Today is not too soon)

He can withdraw, and take mitt the twit and the rest of the RINOs with him. I’d rather not risk having these idiots foul the process and take time, money and energy away from real possible conservative candidates. Personally, Cain/West, Cain/Palin, Cain/Bachman.

The problems are unfixable because Americans don’t want them fixed. We’re at the point in our history where the people want bread, circuses and endless wars against the barbarians.

Everyone is open to cutting, if it’s not their program on the block. Everyone wants their program funded so long has two nickels of someone else’s money to rub together.

We don’t have time for a 15 year plan. In 2 years they’d be off the wagon and spending like old times again. Because it’s what the people want. The country is the problem, the politicians are just symptoms.

Sarah / West or West / Sarah. One or the other.

Newt is delusional.

LOL so true.

Considering the entire media has imposed a regime of airtight censorship of any lampooning of Obama.

That alone is reason enough to replace the socialist fraud with Palin.

To laugh again.

The GOP isn’t dead...the GOP doesn’t exist anymore. It is just a bunch of progressives working together.

2012 we have to vote our conscience not party.

You would think that by now, after Gingrich posed with Pelosi on that couch in those “Green” propaganda adds, that these people would have figured this guy out by now.

And yet , they all sound so surprised when he still bites the hand that feeds him.

Normally with blatant blog pimps like you, we try to get them to post their commentary in full, to share with other FReepers in a spirit of community.

But given the level of discourse evinced by your excerpt, I’d make an exception in your case.

Keep you analysis (if that’s what you call this drivel) to yourself. Anybody who wastes a click and risks a full cookie jar after reading what you’ve posted gets what they deserve.

Didn’t we hear after the 2008 elections that there would be 40 years of Democratic rule.

Then in 2010 there was a historic election, particularly in the state legislatures (aside from Mexifornia of course). Look at that the liberal bastion of Wisonsin.

Look for 2012 to be a continuation of the relegation of the lib’s to a minority party.

2012 Slogan: Are you better off than 4 years ago? HELL NO!!!

Feel free to add more....ok.

True at-will employment. If you are good and productive you have a job. If not, pick lettuce or go hungry. For far too long it has been nearly impossible for employers, union or not, to get rid of dead weight. USA can't be productive and excel with ANY employer carrying dead weight.

Newt doesn’t have a chance. Why would Soros waste money on him? I love conspiracy theories as much as anyone, but they need to be based on some sort of reality.

Or Newt can just start being honest with everyone and run with a big, fat D after his name.

is to introduce a longer range plan, 12-15 years, ..... In my view, all plans that alter the basic fabric of American society should be introduced over this kind of time period.

That is the way we got where we are now but over a longer period of time. The transformation actually started in the late 1800's with the Communist Party USA being started in 1907. They have slowly and stealthily introduced policies that achieve the opposite of what they are touted to achieve. They excuse the results as unintended consequences. Early on we had the Federal Reserve, Social Security, the graduated income tax, FDR's New Deal, and later LBJ's Great Society with Medicare, Civil Rights Act, Voters Rights Act, etc. Now the 1960's radicals are in charge and they no longer want to wait. They want it all now!

If we don't stop them now they will never leave office. Soros, among the many other plans he is financing, is now setting up political apparati to elect his own Secretaries of State in key battleground states. They control the elections and if he can control the elections even more than they now have with ACORN and all the phony voters on the rolls then rebellion is the only alternative.

No—The GOP isn’t dead—nor have they given the White House to the poser in chief. What is going on is healthy and good. Another old timer has blown his chance—Newt is out, that’s all. We have lots of people out there. Some good, some with ideas, and some that will be forced into the ditch. I believe that the person who will get the nod hasn’t been heard from yet. What is happening is transition and change—something that is painful for the GOP even in good times but well needed. I believe the folks want a new vision at this time and I don’t see anyone saying this at this point in time. It will come and—I predict—it will be someone who is almost unknown. We in the Tea Party Movement must focus on the Big Picture—Getting Elected our people to Congress & Senate, The State Houses, and County Governments and City Halls. That way even if Obama re-takes the White House he will be de-fanged from getting his “worker’s paradise” he (and his handlers) dream about.

Who do you think can beat Obama?

I would like to think any one of our people can defeat him because Obama is such a huge loser BUT since I'm not God and I don't really know, I also know that no one else really knows, either.

I think Newt may be able to defeat Obama but I don't think he can get the nomination.

Who do you think can beat the total incompetent we have in the WH right now?

I would love to think Mickey Mouse could beat Obama but polls are still pretty high for him. My first choice is Allen West. Sarah may have a chance but she would have to have a lot of help to fight back against the media. Don’t know who else would have a sure shot but I guess we will have to wait and see who decides to run.

That is my philosophy. I live in Iowa and could have been on board with any number of candidates but like I told a friend last night, I am glad I have adopted the approach of sitting back and waiting to see what happens.

In the past week we have Ron Paul making a fool of himself over his remarks and then Newt self destructs and now it looks like Romney has made a huge faux pas. Those who chose to get on board with someone early are in damage-control mode. They're trying to put the best faces on these blunders and it is difficult for them. This is like a long-term demolition derby. I'll take any of our candidates to Obama--no question.
