Because he's got a voice that's heard by millions. You and I - not so much.
Would flyover country type folks riot? I think it unlikely. Small demonstrations with folks standing on the sidewalk with signs would be characterized as riots by the press and by government officials, though.

Actually, more like his entire life. His mother was very much immersed in that world. Obama grew up in it, didn’t take him till adulthood to develop his Marxist thinking.
Well, Mr. Sarcastic, for one thing when you call Bozo names no one but a few conservatives either hear you or read what you say. When Steyn does it thousands, if not millions, of people read his thoughts and opinions, that's what makes the difference.

I think the resupply issue is valid, and I am predicting at some point Obama will threaten to cut off aid to Israel, however that is far, far removed from actually placing US troops on the ground as “peacekeepers”. the American public knows we would be there to protect “Palestinians”, not Israelis, and that will not fly. I also think Israel will go it alone if we cut off military aid, rather than submit to a suicidal policy forced on them by Obama. Israel holds the trump card, nuclear weapons. If we cut off conventional resupply they only have the nuclear alternative left, and they will make certain Obama knows that. It would be ironic if in the end, he was responsible for the nuclear obliteration of all things Islamic in the middle east, would it not?
Ironic and perhaps a bit of a relief.
