Breaking: Obama Gives Speech From Notes, No Teleprompter in Sight!

It looks like preacher Harold Camping was off by about three weeks: the end of the world may very well be at hand, as President Barack Obama gave a speech completely from his notes. That's right, no teleprompter!

At a speech at Northern Virginia Community College, the President spoke in front of a group of students, no TOTUS in sight. Even more shocking: he had words written down on paper!

Almost as shocking was the absence of a prompter during Mr. Obama's meetings with Angela Merkel .

The President has heavily relied on teleprompters for almost every single speech of his Presidency, including one to a sixth grade classroom:

Could this new strategy of writing down notes and reading them, instead of reciting words off of a pane of glass, actually stick? Only time will tell.

Psst, over here, rumor around Washington is that the teleprompter has quit the administration and return to a teaching position at an unknown college. The teleprompter was last seen exiting out the backdoor of the White House in the middle of the night on Friday with bags in hand and entered a waiting car with Blackened Windows.

What was remarkable about the co-appearance with Merkle is that while Obama occasionally looked up from his prepared speech, Merkle lonked down at her notes only very, very briefly , by comparison.

A very interesting contrast between Angela speaking from the heart and Baraq is struggling to keep track of contrivances.

He’ll fit right in at the “Hall of Presidents” at Disney World. Funny story - we’re sitting there watching the show and George Washington is speaking. My 7 (?) year old daughter whispers “I didn’t think he was still alive!”

I whispered back on how they are just mechanical dummies. A litte bit later President Lincoln is talking, and he has what looks like note cards in his hand. (May have been an eyeglass case). She leans over and says “He needs to use notecards because he’s just a dummie”.

to substitute the words "I" and "me" for "umm" and "ahh."
