Posted on 06/09/2011 12:45:27 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet
Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who campaigned for Sarah Palin (oh, and John McCain) in 2008 is now complaining that the former governor is distracting media attention from Mitt Romney.
On a recent episode of "The View," Hasselbeck used an interesting analogy to argue that the hockey mom's "One Nation" tour was stealing the thunder from Romney's plan to improve the economy.
"If I had termites in my house I'd get someone in there who could deal with it," the former winner of "Survivor" explained. "Mitt Romney, right now, his specialty is the economy. I'd have him in there. Here's why we're not hearing it: because Sarah Palin's on a bus and right now she's manipulating, in terms of media attention."
Hasselback's angst against the Alaskan may seem odd considering that in 2008 Hasselbeck guaranteed that if Palin made it to the White House she would fight D.C. corruption.....

“Elisabeth Hasselbeck blames...”
Blames, credits....words, just words.
This should be settled in a pool of jello.
Wake up, ‘Liz!
The lack of Romney coverage should tell you something -— that is, people are not that interested in hearing much about him.
I too would hire Milt to fight termites. Elisabeth is on the right track. Exterminate Milt, err.... I mean termites, yes, termites! Bob
Hey Elizabeth, put a sock in it or else I am gonna send Rosie O’Donnell to your house to sit on you..what a giant turd this chick is..she loves Romney, she thinks he is going to improve the economy LOL LOL..there just isn’t a cure for stupid is there
if you made that a PPV, it could pay off the national debt.
Sarah Palin is the most powerful woman in the world!!!!
She sneezes and the left says “She’s spreading SARS”.
Hilarious. Hasselbeck is a generic garden variety, North East Cocktail Circuit Repub. There isn't a chance in the world that she would choose a real solid Conservative like Palin over a Progressive Rockefeller Repub like Mittens. She can screw.
Let her stick to the ab glider.
That's like saying....
“She can screw.”
Acording to her hubby.
“On a recent episode of “The View,” Hasselbeck used an interesting analogy to argue that the hockey mom’s “One Nation” tour was stealing the thunder from Romney’s plan to improve the economy.”
And Palin hasn’t even announced yet... That must tell you something about his campaign.
I’m FOR abortion, before I decided AGAINST it.
I’m FOR gov’t sponsored Health Care, before I decided AGAINST it.
I believe in Man’s contribution to Global Warming
What stance, specifically, does he hold that is in any way conservative in nature? Some things are fundamental to one’s core belief; and Romney has no values that seem to reflect my core political beliefs.
Like, oh ... say getting Goverment OUT of my life ...
Or come pretty close to ...
She sounds like just another jealous hag when she whines about Sarah deflating Milt’s big moment. I can save Milt some time: “Folks, I’m a socialist, but not quite as radical as the Punk we have now.” There, feel better Elisabeth? Bob
Mitt made the Massachusetts economy a very very special economy because Mitt knows a lot about.....well.....the economy
really, he is such a smart guy on the economy, all we’ve heard for the past 2 years is what Mitt will do to help the economy
LOL, those are all good! :)
How is that a bad thing?
Liz,needs one of those-I wish these were brains T-shirts!
But not an exterminator who has a nasty record of allying with the termites. We've negotiated and they'll be keeping the garage and rec room.
"If I had termites in my house

who could deal with it...Mitt Romney"
"As U.S. real output grew 13 percent between 2002 and 2006, Massachusetts trailed at 9 percent.
* Manufacturing employment fell 7 percent nationwide those years, but sank 14 percent under Romney, placing Massachusetts 48th among the states.
* Between fall 2003 and autumn 2006, U.S. job growth averaged 5.4 percent, nearly three times Massachusetts' anemic 1.9 percent pace.
* While 8 million Americans over age 16 found work between 2002 and 2006, the number of employed Massachusetts residents actually declined by 8,500 during those years.
"Massachusetts was the only state to have failed to post any gain in its pool of employed residents," professors Sum and McLaughlin concluded.
In an April 2003 meeting with the Massachusetts congressional delegation in Washington, Romney failed to endorse President Bush's $726 billion tax-cut proposal."

The Massachusetts Republican Party died last Tuesday.
The cause of death: failed leadership.
The party is survived by a few leftover legislators
and a handful of county officials and grassroots activists
who have been ignored for years.
Services will be public and a mass exodus of taxpayers will follow.
In lieu of flowers, send messages to Republican voters
warning them about a certain presidential candidate named Romney.
- Boston Herald, 11/12/2006
"In 2006, while Romney was chairman of the National Republican
Governors Association - a group dedicated to electing more
Republican governors - his own hand-picked Republican successor
as governor lost badly to the Democrat, despite the fact that Republicans
have held the governorship in Massachusetts since 1990. Romney largely
ignored the Massachusetts elections and spent most of the time
during the campaign out of state building his presidential campaign.
He came back and publicly campaigned for the Republican candidate
the day before the general election!
Locally, this is a rebuke to Mitt Romney and checking out within six months
after being elected and having accomplished almost nothing,
[Jim] Rappaport [former chairman of the state Republican Party]."
- Boston Globe, 11/8/2006
"Governor Mitt Romney, who touts his conservative credentials to out-of-state Republicans,
has passed over GOP lawyers for three-quarters of the 36 judicial vacancies he has faced,
instead tapping registered Democrats or independents -- including two gay lawyers who
have supported expanded same-sex rights, a Globe review of the nominations has found.
Of the 36 people Romney named to be judges or clerk magistrates, 23 are either registered Democrats
or unenrolled voters who have made multiple contributions to Democratic politicians
or who voted in Democratic primaries, state and local records show.
In all, he has nominated nine registered Republicans, 13 unenrolled voters,
and 14 registered Democrats."

Romney Rewards one of the State's Leading Anti-Marriage Attorneys by Making him a Judge
Romney told the U.S. Senate on June 22, 2004, that the "real threat to the States is not the
constitutional amendment process, in which the states participate,
but activist judges who disregard the law and redefine marriage . . ."
Romney sounds tough but yet he had no qualms advancing the legal career of one
of the leading anti-marriage attorneys. He nominated Stephen Abany to a District Court.
Abany has been a key player in the Massachusetts Lesbian and Gay Bar Association which,
in its own words, is "dedicated to ensuring that the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court decision
on marriage equality is upheld, and that any anti-gay amendment or legislation is defeated."
- U.S. Senate testimony by Gov. Mitt Romney, 6/22/2004 P>
"Romney announces he won't fill judicial vacancies before term ends
Despite his rhetoric about judicial activism, Romney announced that
he won't fill all the remaining vacancies during his term - but instead
leave them for his liberal Democrat successor!
Governor Mitt Romney pledged yesterday not to make a flurry of lame-duck
judicial appointments in the final days of his administration . . . David Yas,
editor of Lawyers Weekly, said Romney is "bucking tradition" by resisting the urge to
fill all remaining judgeships. "It is a tradition for governors to use that power to appoint judges
aggressively in the waning moments of their administration," Yas said.
He added that Romney has been criticized for failing to make judicial appointments.
"The legal community has consistently criticized him for not filling open seats quickly enough
and being a little too painstaking in the process and being dismissive of the input of the
Judicial Nominating Commission," Yas said.

Good grief don’t they dress up for being on tv? She looks like she should be at the beach. Was she wearing flip-flops too? Yikes.
I’m certainly not interested in seeing more Mitt coverage.
Romney Zombies == ROMBIES
Yes I coined it, but you can use it.
Dumb hot girls just do not do it for me. Sorry. Never really have.
Oh and might I add Liz has some nice assets. ;)
Myth Romney - THE ECONO-CON
is a failed governor yet uses his servants, women and flacks
to confuse the public.
Romney - THE ECONO-CON
Can't tell you.
Never looked down that far...
Liz, I have a "plan" to make us all rich by spending all our money.
In his failed presidential run, John F'n Kerry and John "The Indicted One" Edwards had "plans" to solve all of America's problems. We were just too dumb to ever know what those "plans" were.
Until Romney provides details of his "plan" to improve the economy, Lizzie, it's just so much hot air. Just like the hot air spewed by the wenches on your rancid show everyday.
The bad economy is only a symptom. The real problem is systemic corruption. For these termites, Palin is the proven specialist. That is why the corrupt establishment is howling so loud.
Mr. Romney has not yet offered many specifics about his plans for the economy. He promised to cap federal spending at 20 percent of the nations gross domestic product. And he said that as president he would make taxes competitive, create jobs, modernize regulations and reduce bureaucracy.
Elizabeth, Elizabeth...the media had a choice between wacthing paint dry and covering Rommney...they went with what was more exciting.
Actually Elizabeth has done more for Sarah than you could ever do. She supported her in 2008 and said many speeches. I am sure she will support her if she gets in. Elizabeth likes Sarah unlike you.
When it cones to Sarah republican women are as just as petty and whiny as libtards
Elizabeth then threw Palin under the bus when she was being attacked as a mass murderer.
No wonder Palin doesn’t return her emails.
You forgot the BRAINLESS TWIT (that’s Twit!) ALERT. The woman is sickening, vapid, brain-dead, illiterate, pathetic, moronic, and frankly,... I don’t find her attractive at all!
Didn’t she get the memo? Romney himself said that his poor press coverage was a good thing right now, because he’s so worried about overexposure. In fact, he went on Piers Morgan’s CNN show to say so.
(He did indeed learn in ‘08 that the more the electorate saw him, the less they wanted to vote for him.)
Sarah Barracuda is just tired of the endless RomneyTEAM
backstabbing. Who isn’t?
She was not really going to “put a sock in it”
or “send Rosie ODonnell (over)”.
Hope all is well.
According to the Daily Mail, she is mad because Sarah won’t return her phone calls recently. So she’s in a snit and being a back stabber because her ego is wounded.
