1. If she announces, she becomes the instant frontrunner

But both in that long-ago day and today, female leadership was made necessary because the men hid in the shadows. Men can be great cowards until they run out of options.

Right, without that “female leadership” during World War 2, those Marines never would have held the line at Guadal Canal, or the 101st would have never had the nerve to parachute behind German lines in the dark of night on D-Day.
Yup, who needs those incompetent, stupid, cowardly men, since all they are known for is “hiding in the shadows.” (While tracer rounds are buzzing over their heads on the firing line.)
And who needs them to vote, now that we have those brave women like Plain now in charge. That's a sure fire way to win elections isn't it? Humiliate and offend entire generations of “cowardly men”.
