It sure looks like he was on Reagan’s plane.

And another thing. Whether a picture is clearly on a plane, which is no mere photo op, the point is that those are pix with Reagan. Not Bush. Not Ford.

All the pictures of Ron Paul and Ron Reagan in various situations tell a picture. Reagan’s inner circle of closest advisers would likely have more.

Rick Perry probably has a lot of pictures of him and Al Gore for example.

You aren’t but others just don’t see it the same way as you do.

And talk about spamming. This article was over a year old.

“Find something people won’t like about Ron Paul. Doesn’t have to be new, over a year old is fine. Oh, it’s perfect, it has crazy in it”

Freepers who see eye to eye with RP on foreign affairs are very, very few in number. You'd have a lot better luck peddling your bullshit on a leftist forum.

I want you to show me a link to that EXACT QUOTE.

You’re changing the quote again.

This is the REAL QUOTE

“I want to totally disassociate myself from the policies that have given us unprecedented deficits, massive monetary inflation, indiscriminate military spending, an irrational and unconstitutional foreign policy, zooming foreign aid, the exaltation of international banking, and the attack on our personal liberties and privacy.”

Actually, Congressman Paul is correct: a blockade is an act of war. This is a simple fact of generally agreed international law.

I’m not sure why anyone should would have a problem with this, as the Hamas rocket attacks on Israel provide adequate basis for military counter-action on the part of the Israelis against Gaza, again under generally agreed international law. If they prefer a blockade to an invasion or counter-bombardment, they are certainly within their rights to blockade Gaza.

Actually, McCain noted that the Republican Candidates for President are moving away from the Bush policies, most notably on Libya. But I’m not engaging in Foreign Policy battles here.

I see a year old news story just posted I’ll put up the 2 Rons pics. I’m not debating foreign policy.

Did you know famous Socialist Michael Harrington invented the term “neoconservative”

MR. RUSSERT: You’re running as a Republican. In your—on your Web site, in your brochures, you make this claim: “Principled Leadership. Ron was also one of only four Republican Congressmen to endorse Ronald Reagan for president against Gerald Ford in” ‘76. There’s a photograph of you, Ronald Reagan on the right, heralding your support of Ronald Reagan. And yet you divorced yourself from Ronald Reagan.

You said this: “Although he was once an ardent supporter of President Reagan, Paul now speaks of him as a traitor leading the country into debt and conflicts around the world.

“I want to totally disassociate myself from the Reagan Administration.” And you go on to The Dallas Morning News: “Paul now calls Reagan a `dramatic failure.’”

REP. PAUL: Well, I’ll bet you any money I didn’t use the word traitor. I’ll bet you that’s somebody else, so I think that’s misleading. But a failure, yes, in, in many ways. The government didn’t shrink. Ultimately, after he got in office, he said, “All I want to do is reduce the rate of increase in size of government.” That’s not my goal. My goal is to reduce our government to a constitutional size. Completely different. I think that—matter of fact, he admitted in his memoirs that he had a total failure in Lebanon, and he said he relearned the Middle East because of that failure. And so there—he—you know, he...

You aren’t but others just don’t see it the same way as you do.

Yeah, we pretty much do for the most part.

"If you Paulistas are looking for support on FR for an antiwar moonbat who is giving aid and comfort to our enemies, you're nuts! Free Republic will NEVER support antiwar moonbats!

As far as our official policy on Ron Paul is concerned, it's the same policy we have for his antiwar moonbat allies the traitors Harry Reid, Chuckie Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Jack Murtha, Cindy Sheehan, Barbara Streisand, Jane Fonda, CodePink, International Answer, et al and their flaming antiwar spam monkeys. Ron Paul and his flaming antiwar spam monkeys can Kiss my Ass!!"

-Jim Robinson, September 30, 2007.

Do we need to ask him again if he still feels the same way? Because I'll be happy to. LOL

That is Russert saying that Ron Paul said that. That was not an accurate quote by Russert.

And Ron Paul replies with: "Well, I'll bet you any money I didn't use the word traitor.

Ron Paul have never once denied saying-

>"I want to totally disassociate myself from the Reagan Administration." And you go on to The Dallas Morning News: "Paul now calls Reagan a `dramatic failure.'"

And yet another source:

Paul (May 10, 1988): The American people have never reached this point of disgust with politicians before. I want to totally disassociate myself from the Reagan Administration.

The single biggest hurdle Ron Paul faces are his supporters.

Even on CSPAN they asked the Is he a cult leader question.
