Aside from the simple cost of these jobs (money spent/jobs supposedly created or saved), does anyone ever ask, “For how long?”
Are these jobs permanent, or is the money gone, and the jobs supposedly created about to be as well?

it did so at a cost of $666 billion Appropriate number for that crowd.

Stimulus plans that build needed infrastructure and do things that need to be done can work.
The problem was that Obama's stimulus plans wasted the money.
- The cost per job was way too high.
- They fed pork projects to their friends instead of building needed infrastructure.
- When they did build infrastructure such as roads, they were working against the need for such infrastructure by driving fuel prices through the roof.
- They threw money at green energy projects without any justification that the projects had a reasonable chance of being viable.
- And they added government employees into programs that would have to be funded more in the future beyond the stimulus.

Had they used the funds to build nuclear plants, we could be enjoying much lower energy costs and that would be boosting the economy.
