Perry's Twin Mandates For Kids---Gardasil for the Veins; Islamopropaganda for the Brains
08/20/2011 | Brices Crossroads

Posted on 08/20/2011 11:52:40 AM PDT by Brices Crossroads

Before I began to research Rick Perry's record, I perceived him to be nothing more than a garden variety southern Republican governor, probably conservative, certainly more conservative than his 2010 opponent Kay Bailey Hutchison. But the fact that he had such a spirited challenge from both sides in the GOP primary, both from the moderates AND the Conservatives, made me wonder just how conservative he really was. Just a bit of research revealed the gardasil mandate on preteen girls and their parents (and the cronysim associated with it), his full throated advocacy of open borders, including a pipeline for illegals dubbed the Trans-Texas corridor, his provision of in state tuition to the offspring of illegals, his doubling of the state budget during his tenure and his support in 2008 of the pro-choice social liberal Rudy Giuliani for President. I was not shocked to find he was not a conservative (After all, 49% of the Texas GOP voters, who are overwhelmingly conservative, voted in the primary not to renominate him.) What took me completely by surprise was his great affinity for Islam, the warm words which the Hamas front group CAIR has for him but most significantly of all, the Islamicization of the curriculum in the Texas public schools which the supposedly conservative Governor of Texas has quietly implemented.

Perry, you see, has a cozy relationship with the Aga Khan, the head of the Ismailis, a realtively small sect sect of Shia Islam that reportedly has 15 to 20 million followers. Perry and Khan have confected two cooperation agreements between the state of Texas and Ismaili institutions, the most significant of which is a program, now pervading every Texas public school, to proselytize and to desensitize, schoolchildren about Islam. Dubbed the "Muslim Histories and Culture Project", it really amounts to Islamic propaganda forced upon a captive audience...the malleable youngsters attending Texas public schools.

Up until a few days ago, the Texas school curriculum could be viewed on the SAN ANTONIO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT's own website:

www.saisd.net/admin/curric/sstudies/mhcp/mhcproject.html

This link has now mysteriously disappeared. I wonder if that has anything to do with the following posting on Pam Gellar's Blog, which exposes the entire enterprise, and which thankfully saved the curriculum abstracts:

LINK

Before the link to the San Antonio Independent School District Website was disabled and the website scrubbed, Gellar and company had lifted the curriculum abstracts from it, which show:

"a) High praise for Gov. Perry's collaboration with the Aga Khan, leaving no question about Perry's complicity and active support; and b) A thorough whitewashing of the nature and history of Islam that ignores Islam's bloody history while simultaneously portraying the Crusades as a bloody assault on Islamic soil by Christians."

*******************************

The curriculum abstracts characterize the interaction of Islam and Christianity as follows:

"While Islam "spreads" and "extends," presumably in the same way that dew forms on flower petals, Crusaders "wrest political control of the Holy Land from Muslim rulers, damaging the positive relations that had previously existed." Nowhere is it mentioned that the Crusades were prompted by two crises: (1) the ruthless treatment of Christian pilgrims attempting to see Jerusalem, which was under Muslim control, and (2) Byzantine Emperor Alexius's plea for European knights to help him take back territory that had just been overrun by an invasion of Muslim Turks. "

***********************************************

Also lifted from the now scrubbed website was the following:

"A presentation of the Koran and Muhammad that can only be described as open proselytization for Islam in public schools.

An idealized portrayal of Cordoba's "multicultural" society that minimizes the oppression and political upheaval that took place under Muslim misrule, which largely brought on its own demise through infighting similar to what we see in the Islamic world today. A bizarrely twisted portrayal of the Islamic world that blames Islam's repression of women on Western Colonialism.

A naked advertisement for the Aga Khan and the Ismaili sect of Islam. This is particularly dangerous because the Ismailis are a sect of only about 20 - 30 million people -- approximately 2% of the entire Muslim population and therefore not representative of Islam as a whole. Also, while the Ismailis may portray themselves as relatively modern, they still have an anti-Western historical narrative that portrays the West as colonialist while ignoring Islam's own bloody form of colonialism. In making overtures to build bridges with one small Islamic sect, Gov. Perry has replaced the Western narrative of history with the narrative of 1.5 billion Muslims who see the West as the enemy. AND YES, THEY REALLY DO SEE THE WEST AS THE ENEMY, as this curriculum makes clear."

*******************************

After reading the teacher's abstracts of this Islamic proselytism, which can be seen by scrolling down the link, I was aghast. If any teacher in the public schools dared to even mention Christianity or Judaism, they would be fired. This curriculum mandates far more than a casual mention. It lionizes Islam, papers over its excesses and trashes Christianity, all at the same time. It is doing immense, yet very subtle, harm to the most vulnerable among us...school children. I daresay that most public school parents in Texas are unaware that their children are being brainwashed in such a fashion.

It turns out that Rick Perry, the godfather of the gardasil mandate for preteen girls also subscribes to another mandate... mandatory Islamic proselytization. Both mandates, it should be noted, require no parental consent. This brought to mind the old slogan Jesse Jackson used to use, "We want hope for brains not dope for veins." Apparently, Governor Perry's education platform was "Gardasil for veins; Islamopropaganda for brains". As the writer correctly observes:

If Barack Obama had imposed such a curriculum on schools we'd be calling for his impeachment. Therefore it is unconscionable to look the other way when it comes to Perry.

The best that can be said for Rick Perry in connection with the Perry/Khan curriculum is that he is very naive. In putting across these two odious mandates on public school children in Texas, gardasil and the euphemistically titled "Muslim Histories and Culture Project", Perry has demonstrated either a colossal lack of judgment or a hidden (and darker) agenda, either of which should disqualify him from consideration for the GOP nomination.

It’s a dilly of a pickle of a problem.

We cant just militarize it per Posse Comitatus.
Tx cant afford to cover 1250 mi of border, and even when we try, the feds file suit on us.

We would all be better off if DC just stayed the **** out of states rights.

Then folks could wring their hands about those lawless bastards down in Texas.

When I lived in Az 6 mi from Naco Mexico, we used to roam the hills with sidearms and cellphones.

Sometimes we would buzz the border with piper cubs and call the coyotes positions to the BP.

You cant do that no more.
Remember Jim Gilchrist? He was making drones to fly the border, he begged the Capitol for help.

What did they do? They ****ed him.
The minuteman project is gone.

Yup. But we could just ignore it, after all, Obama gets to pick and choose ;) Kidding!

Personally I’m all for the fence with all the high tech goodies like ground penetrating sonar for tunnel detection. When you look at the cost compared to what Obama spends on terrorist support, it’s miniscule..

And such a fence (a REAL one, not some 4 foot chain link yard fence) is a 99.9% effective method to stop the flow, the drugs and the cross border violence (until the Zetas start lobbing mortars.) But as you said, it all goes back to Washington and as I said, their ‘laws of men.

We have to elect people who will stop catering to the special interests. The EPA/BLM are one big problem on our side with their wilderness area/spotted snarfblat BS stopping construction and driving costs into orbit.

I would suggest (after eliminating all alphabets but the FBI/CIA) that our next President (Palin/Perry/whoever) make the obvious to us statement that border issues are a matter of national security, place the Border Patrol under the Dept. of Defense and THAT skirts Posse Comatatus legally and legitimately. BP would get no further ‘power’ but the full ability to do their job without interference from the special interest mob.

There are so many obstacles.

In my time in Az I saw the Tohono Odham Indian nation reservation become a conduit from Puerto Penasco to Tucson.
Legally nothing could be done. and it remains this way till this moment.

The Tohono Odhamn Nation is a sovereign nation under US laws dating back to the 1840s.

They say BP cant come in to patrol it. They’ll take care of the matter.
Then they take graft from the coyotes and drug runners for safe passage.

They have a freaking corridor and we cant touch it.
You’d think we could sit on the other end of the corridor and intercept them but you’ve no idea ho big this place is.

Down here in Texas Perry has put in a pretty neat system of infrared sensors on towers along the Rio Grande.

They detect and call the authorities. I take it they have it tweeked to know the difference between a deer and a Mexican. Any how, it has to be cheaper that a soldier every 100 yards along a 1250 mi border in 112 degree heat

Sure I do...I live in AZ ;)

You are right, there’s a metric ton of things and people in the way. I really think a lot of it is based on Clo/Priven and an early implementation of it.

The admin has so many crossrefrencing regs/laws etc that it cannot be dismantled. Eliminate law A and Reg B from another dept does the same.

So it must be destroyed utterly. The whole system needs to be nuked via executive order, national security provisions and legislative authority. I an NOT saying Palin/Perry/Whoever should govern like Obama in reverse. I am saying USE THE LAWS ON THE BOOKS to eliminate the BS. All this crap was created and it can be undone.

We just need the “will to do it”. If we can get decent people with a sense of right/wrong and purpose elected, I believe it can be done. Sure it will take a while, but it can happen faster than many would think. Pull the right threads and the whole thing unravels.

I guess any asshole could shoot the sensors out but honestly, what are we to do? Who is going to pay for it all?

IMHO opinion it is best for the Feds and the Border states to Lean hard on Mexico.
None of this mordida BS
Then let the locals pick up the stragglers.

If these folks have no incentive to be here they wont come.

Mexico is one of the most horrific governments on the planet.
They are swimming in resources and the people are starving.
When I Talk to locals that get sympathetic to Mexico and want Uncle Sugar to fix it I redirect their attention.

Figure this. If we hate Mexicans up here so darned much why do Americans drop money to go relax in Mexico?

The truth is we like the Mexican people, we just hate them when they are desperate and nasty, and they get that way BECAUSE of the plight the Mexican Government puts them in.

If you want to know anything REAL about Aga Khan, you need to go to islamic websites. Western ones only tell you what they want you to know. To the people he controls, he is an absolute tyrant. His word is the law and if he says it, it is true. There can be NO free thinking. No questions. You obey, or you pay. His followers think he is divine, the personification of allah on earth.
You have no idea what these people are like out from under the sunlight.

Thank you!

Yes and they’re all multiplying like rabbits in a cage! Watched a video of some of the Texans coverting to Islam today.....and they in turn trying to convert family members and friends. At the rate Muslims are converting Americans who are now pushing ISlam, the Muslims won’t have to do a thing....just sit back and watch the show.....while Americans advance their agenda for them.

It’s laughable how one actually coverts...what’s it take...two sentences in the vestibul of their Islamic center and your in...with a yell out...here’s one! That really happened!

That says it all why you're supporting Perry.

As for the jobs...might want to see if those jobs were more than minimum wage jobs....and why those with advanced skills are still looking.

Ronald Reagan was not running for any office when he switched to Rebuplican so no comparrison there.

As for the business climate....you might want to determine how that came about and who he screwed to accomodate them.

And lets determine who those jobs went to....

You can masturbate all you want over your left-wing push polls.

Nobody draws a crowd like Sarah: and if she even has homosexual activists like Tammy Bruce on board, she has the ability to attract votes from outside her base.

Better go tell your master your trolling FAILED.

I love Mexico as a country/area, but their Govt is absolutely the problem. I told this story a while back on a thread, but it applies here as well.

When I did the motorsports thing back in the late 90s / early 200s, I had the chance to run part of the Baja 1000 course with a good friend of mine from Mex in a high end prerunner/race truck. We came across a bunch of shacks put together from collected wood and tin that were homes to several people out in the middle of nowhere and a looooong way from any town or village on the map.

We come roaring in there in this truck that cost more than any dozen of those people would ever see in their lifetime and shut it down. Out of a shack comes one of, if not the most beautiful woman I have ever laid eyes on with a little boy clinging to her leg. She offered us water and something to eat with a big smile on her face and not a care in the world.

This woman had not a pot to whizz in, nor literally a window to throw it out of. We could have raped and killed her on the spot, and no one would have ever known. But this woman, was willing to offer us what little she had...total strangers who obviously had all the money in the world by comparison. I will go to my grave remembering that simple act of kindness.

The Mexican people, by and large are some of the best people on the planet. But just as you say, their govt. is the problem. I live in an area filled with Americans of Mexican decent. We all get along just fine. I don’t know anyone who “hates Mexicans.” It’s just another propaganda scam that we do the Dems and LaRaza types exploit for power.

As for the illegals themselves, I think a lot of the “hatred” the Dems jin up is propaganda there as well. It’s not hate. We want them to come legally or not at all. Sure some people ‘hate’ them, but there are always that type and they are a miniscule minority.

That’s what pols on the right need to drive home and until they do, the Dems/libs will keep winning the propaganda war.

Anything south of Ensenada is just freaking gorgeous. Putting drug violence aside (if that’s possible) I kinda snicker when people don’t understand why people want to go there. Anyone who has knows why ;) Now of course it’s so bad that it’s courting death, but it used to be a paradise (geographically speaking).

From your link:

What is required to be an expert is often a matter of great debate.........What one person may take to be a fallacious appeal another person might take to be a well supported line of reasoning. ........

It is important to remember that no person is completely objective............ At the very least, a person will be favorable towards her own views (otherwise she would probably not hold them).

Because of this, some degree of bias must be accepted............ What counts as a significant degree of bias is open to dispute and can vary a great deal.

You make the argument from authority.

I simply stated that on Free Rebublic Mesta is far more knowledgable of the Leadership and movements of the Islamic Agenda than most here...the trustworthiness of what is posted and the resources linked or spoken of can always be confirmed and or built upon by others who investigate further...and Mesta is always open for those discussions...and as much further investigation.

Most here do indeed do their own research. Freepers are well known for "digging" until the truth is revealed. Thereafter, and or along the way , each is of course left to draw their own conclusions....and these will differ as well as find agreement with.

I'd agree to that when you set aside the criminal element. All nations have their own misfits.

I moved to an area which had a Hispanic area of the city. I was astounded how welcoming and polite these people were, having not been around any prior to this. It didn't matter where you ran into them they were always courteous. So yes, I can agree with what you say.

But with their 'kindness' in mind. I do think that is one of the reasons their government rides roughshot over them. You would think LaRaza and the groups who make their demands in our nation would do so in Mexico.....to change their nations governance.

You might be interested in this... offers a chilling operational insight into the mindset, planning, and vision of the Islamic movement in North America.

“The process of settlement is a ‘Civilization-Jihadist Process’...(’stealth jihad’) with all the word means.....

Their work in America is a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ’sabotaging’ ...”its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.”..as they so often state.

In other words, the Muslim Brotherhood’s strategy for destroying the United States is to get us, ..’specifically our leadership’,.... to do the bidding of the MB for them.

The Muslim Brotherhood intends to conduct ‘Civilization Jihad’... by co-opting our leadership into believing a counterfactual understanding of Islam and the nature of the Muslim Brotherhood,... thereby coercing these leaders to enforce the MB narrative on their subordinates.

At the ground level, this means....

.... that when police officers, federal agents, military personnel, or any other Americans who have sworn an oath to protect and defend the Constitution challenge their leadership with facts, the latter is faced with a hard choice:...... admit a lack of understanding of the threat and that he or she has been duped,..... or the leader must suppress the facts and his subordinates in the interest of protecting his or her professional reputation.

Extensive anecdotal evidence obtained from law enforcement professionals, federal agents, and military service members suggests that.... there is considerable suppression of the facts about shariah and efforts by the Muslim Brotherhood and its allies to bring it to America..... This behavior frequently impedes ongoing investigations and countervailing efforts.

For instance,..... police officers in a number of communities around the country have been pushed out of their Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) or counterterrorism positions by their chiefs or deputy chiefs for factually articulating that certain MB operatives working with their police leadership are, in fact, hostile to the United States and the police department in question....

.... A similar phenomenon has also been evidenced within the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security and other federal, as well as state and local, entities. That is what is meant by “‘sabotaging’ Western Civilization by ‘their hands.”’

Also this, and note this has been presented to Congress Recently:

In the words of Muslim Brotherhood theoretician Sayyid Qutb,.....

“Whenever an Islamic community exists which is a concrete example of the Divinely-ordained system of life, it has a God-given right to step forward and... ‘control the political authority’... so that it may establish the divine system on earth…”

The Goals of Civilization Jihad in the USA” (’stealth jihad”)

• Expanding the Muslim presence by.. birth rate,... immigration, ...and ‘refusal’ to assimilate.

• Occupying and expanding domination of ‘physical spaces’.

• Ensuring the “Muslim Community” knows and follows MB doctrine.

• ‘Controlling the language’ we use in describing the enemy.

• Ensuring we do not study their doctrine (shariah).

• Co-opting ‘key’ leadership.

• ‘Forcing’ compliance with shariah at ‘local levels’.

• Fighting all counterterrorism efforts.

• ‘Subverting’ religious organizations.

• Employing ‘lawfare’ – the offensive use of lawsuits and threats of lawsuits.

• Claiming victimization / demanding accommodations.

• Condemning “slander” against Islam. (MB coined ‘Islamphobia’)

• Subverting the U.S. education system, in particular, ‘infiltrating and dominating’ U.S. Middle East studies programs.

• Demanding the right to practice shariah in segregated Muslim enclaves....(thus ‘protected’ commuities)

• ‘Demanding recognition’ of shariah in non-Muslim spheres.

• Confronting and ‘denouncing Western society’,... laws, and traditions.

• ‘Demanding that shariah ‘replace’ Western law. Note that many of the foregoing techniques entail, in one way or another, ‘influencing and neutralizing’ ...’the American government at all levels’.

Shariah is fundamentally about power – the enforcement of a body of law, not faith...... Therefore it is a political force, not a religious one.

You *resist* the temptation and claim to have credentials. I am hardly invisible as it would seem to want me to be, yet you discuss me as if I am. Has it occurred to you that you might not be the only one with *credentials*?
So far, you have offered no, zip, nada proof to refute anything I have stated. I have offered proof to backup my claims.
Either you, or someone else here, or even maybe on another thread, has stated that aga khan just “came into” his position 50 years ago. That is not quite true. He was born into it.
BUT, your challenge, if it is that, has absolutely nothing to do with the irrefutable FACT that whitewashed islam is being taught in the Texas public school system where the mere mention of Christianity is couched in terms which imply it is evil and islam is good.
This is a program that was instituted by rick perry. There is no either/or, no if or but.
As for biases, everybody has them, but I don’t see where my *bias* changes FACTS. And all I have given are facts. Refute them if you can. You don’t need to shadowbox. Just offer some proof to back up your own claims. If you cannot, then I would appreciate it if you would keep your snide innuendo to yourself.
Why nizkor?

I’m sure that you saw the recent thread here on FR in the past week or so that described the presence of at least 3 mB members high up in the current administration?

Uhm.. there’s been a few people around grabbing that part of nizkor for a debating crutch. Funny thing, they tend to be either muslim potted plants or neonazi potted plants.

Nothing new under the sun. Maybe u should go back to inactive?

Yes I did. Chilling to the bone isn't it. And those are the ones known...imagine those unknown because it is taught to refrain from revealing you're a Muslim. Obvious to acknowlege at this time would not be favorable to them....but it will be.

No, he didn’t sign a law for the gardasil vaccinations. Instead, he overreached with the big government and issued an executive order mandating the vaccines. Fortunately, the Texas legislature smacked that idea down decisively. However, Perry’s actions were pretty revealing of a viewpoint that apparently thinks it is ok to bypass the legislature on controversial issues that might not get through the legislative process.

As to the muslim history, can’t say that I’m familiar with this issue, so I’ll just stick to the issue that Gov. Perry’s action do concern me about.

Thank you for being an informed American. Only when enough people are informed and not afraid to speak the truth can we defeat these enemies within. Defense begins at our borders, so why I often wonder, do we even need Muslims in our country anyway? Is every human being in the world born with the automatic right to immigrate to America? We have made a religion out of immigration so that we cannot even have any sensible immigration rules that can keep our nation safe. Our leaders are clueless wonders, from the president on down to the mayor of NYC. They only want middle eastern money and an opportunity to be the top dog. I am disgusted with most of the politicians in our country and I will not vote for someone like Rick Perry or others who are empty suits just looking out for themselves. The political leadership is made up of clowns for the most part. As I said previously, we expect our police and FBI to be grown ups but the people who are above them, who actually give the orders are total jackasses. The politicians undue all the good that the protectors of our country struggle to do.

But why do you think that Perry’s heart is in the right place? He seems like a sell out to any globalist party who will offer him some cash. The guy is just not for real.

Tucson and Phoenix seem to be sanctuary cities so maybe it isn’t only the Tohono Indians who are accepting “gifts” from the cartels.

This is why it is so important to them to put a mosque at the World Trade Center site. The mosque building will look over a building across the street and will have the vantage point of looking right at the WTC looming over them. They will have as close up a view of the WTC as you can get. It will be allahu ackbar every day, the perfect place to gloat over their victory over us. Of course, if we continue to elect people who are warm and cozy with Islam, there will be more cause for gloating.

The Tohono corridor leads directly to Tucson.

From there its a straight shot up I-10 to Phoenix

>> “She cant win on the national stage.” <<

.
Obviously, but neither can Perry.

Perry’s missteps are so odious and frequent that he will be stripped naked in the election, giving Obama the win by default.

There is but one choice that has been unsuccessfully attacked, and vetted to the max, even to the extent of coming up squeeky clean after 26,000 emails were made public. No other candidate is clean enough and intelligent enough to take us to victory in 2012. To choose another would be folly.
