As President Barack Obama’s approval rating reaches new lows with seemingly every tracking poll, the question of how he is going to win re-election is a high priority for the president and his administration. However, based on Thursday night’s address to a joint session of Congress, it appears Obama could be attempting to mimic former President Harry Truman’s 1948 campaign against a “do-nothing Congress.”

The headline reads: People are finally realising that Obama is a mortal who is in over his head.
It should read : People who voted for Obama are finally realising he is a racist muslim buffoon who is in over his head.
The rest of us already knew it

Krauthammer still doesn’t get it. Obama isn’t just a mortal who is in over his head. He’s a change agent determined to put the USA in a position from which it can be defeated by its enemies.
I often agree with Krauthammer, but he was headed toward the left at a rapid rate.
It is a relief to read that he is learning, albeit slowly, what most of us have known since the beginning of this horror story -

I’m not sure I’d go as far as Obama being over his head. He knows what to do, he’s been told what to do, and he blatantly rejects everything that is presented. He marches lockstep with his ideology of massive govt to ‘transform’ this society. I’d characterize him more as a stubborn, pigheaded, overbearing thug.
It’s ironic that Obama is trying to make the case of a do-nothing Congress. He’s the President who has not submitted a budget for the last two years. The President who when his economic record is criticized, blames it on his predecessor. The President who proposes a jobs program, and then tells Congress to find a way to pay for it.
Can we prosecute them for criminal fraud?
We have a man in the Red House ( oops! “White” House) that posted forgeries, has numerous social security numbers, is a possible illegal alien, is definitely not a natural born citizen.

With Jimmy Carter we developed malaise, which is a feeling of general discomfort or uneasiness, often the first indication of a disease. With Obama we now have the disease.
People think that because Krauthammer is in a wheelchair and has a supercilious demeanor, he must be smarter than the rest of us. I think he’s proven time and time again, to be a person with some serious bad judgement. Not all the time, of course, but enough to make me, personally, discard his opinions.
It’s rather nasty, but I call Chuck Dr. Strangelove.

Apparently Krathammer used all the deductive reasoning he learned at Harvard and it took him three years to come to the same conclusion Palin did in three seconds.

And the President who in his first two years had super majorities in both houses of Congress and forced Stimulus, Obamacare (unconstitutionally), Dodd-Frank and a whole host of regulations down our throats.
The GOP only needs to run those clips of the Bamster spinnin’ and grinnin’ where he said the republicans need to sit in the back of the bus and shut-up will he gets the economy going again...the do nothin Congress issue would be put immediately to rest.

That’s why it is looking like a Rick Perry presidency...if you saw the Hannity special on Fox News on Friday night, Frank Luntz had his focus group (from Atlanta) that reviewed the jobs speech.
Many in the group stated they desperately want a candidate who is plain spoken (says what he means and means what he says) and honest (be straight with Americans). Therefore they liked Perry and Herman Cain (hometown hero).

I never cease to be amazed at how many FReepers reverently refer to Karthammer as “Dr. K†and hang on his every word. Krathammer isn’t a conservative. He never has been and he never will be. But, he plays one on TV.
That is a more accurate assessment of who this clown really is, IMO too. He is a weak prince who was propped up by an assortment of con-men. Yet, he and his cronies are realizing that this grand, starry-eyed transformation of America ain't going so well. The evidence is all around them and they are just smart enough to smell the smoke and see the fire.
So this woeful lack of real world experience in the face of colossal failure of policies has caused a mental paralysis of sorts in the Big O and his clan - headlights meet deer. Consequently, he and his advisers mentally dig in their heels to the only thing they know-leftist ideology: class warfare, crony capitalism, vote buying (via stimulus, or is that stimuli?), growing government, environmental fascism, union thuggery, etc. And, let us not forget the toughest of leftist tasks, perpetuating the myth of who they are NOT.
So, Krauthammer is playing Captain Obvious here.
Even that mal-president Clinton had the political savvy to "triangulate" and move to the center on occasion. Obama is a like the loser at the casino whose "system" of betting has left him broke and begging the casino for a loan to play some more.
