Earthquake? Governor Palin Changes Facebook Status From ‘Republican’ to ‘Conservative’
Conservatives4Palin ^ | Friday October 14, 2011

Ok guys … Is this just a minor thing? Or a big deal? I’ll let you speculate on what it means ….

Here’s the news reported by the Sarah Palin Blog:

I was walking through the grocery store earlier today when I received a text message from a close friend asking me if I had taken note of the change on Sarah Palin’s Facebook page.  I confessed that it had been an exceptionally busy day and that I had not looked at Palin’s page today.  My friend then brought to my attention that under the “Info” link, Palin’s political views have been changed from “Republican” to “Conservative”.  For a brief moment, it didn’t phase me as I am also a registered Republican but I chose to list “Conservative” on my Facebook page as my own political view because in my eyes, it more aptly describes my values.

I suppose one could draw a multitude of conclusions regarding this status change. I know that I certainly have. You can be certain that any move Sarah Palin makes has been well thought out and is with purpose.  Could she possibly be sending a message to the RNC that they need to strengthen the conservative planks of the Republican party?  Perhaps her promise of “sudden and  relentless reform” as addressed in her Indianola speech and more recently in her October 7th St. Louis speech is a sign that as in the past, neither party is safe from her scrunity.

One thing is for sure, time will tell.

“Then I blurted out “but it’s better than being a faggot-loving Democrat who supports a teleprompter-reading idiot kenyan president who thinks America has 57 states..” THEN I got the dagger looks. And that’s why I smiled.”

I didn’t read about anyone getting murdered by a mob in Hollywood so I know you’re making this part up...

She’s NOT running. Are some of you people still hanging on her every word? It’s not happening. No earthquake, Palin isn’t going to be drafted, every word she utters is not a clue about some amazing new plan to outmaneuver people - just let it go.

Governor Palin already made clear she isn’t going 3rd party because that would only help Hussein win a 2nd term. Even if it is Romney that wins the nomination, you can count on her endorsing, supporting and campaigning for him.

hope, if you are living in a state that only allows you to vote in the primary of what your registered as...that could present a problem.

‘Same reason Bachmann had no cash to speak of, her support was not real'

Ah, but perhaps those that are truly REAL are supported by those without that much cash. And those that are supported by the biggest machines....

It will all come out in the wash, as they say here in Flyover, USA.

It ain’t about Sarah, luck or no.

Cheers

Because they can still get enough people to play a game with them?

I want to see “it” fixed before I die.
Because even worse than contemplating the wasted years I spent in service to the USA DOD, is facing my dead great-grand parents, and trying to explain to them why I failed to pass on their hard fought for, simple legacy of freedom to their great-great-grandchild.
If I can't pass on the legacy given to me by my ancestors,I will pass on the desire to obtain it.

“A shot across the bow to the slimeball GOP establishment”

If that’s what it is she needs to adjust her guns and aim for the bridge. That’s where the weasels are gathered.

In Texas you don’t register by party. I like it that way. You’re not a Republican until you vote in the primary, but you can still vote anyway you want.

If it turns out that Romney is the GOP nominee, I have no doubt Sarah will enter as an independent and run away with it. I’m pretty sure that has been her plan all along.

I think it is sort of a party within a party until hopefully something better comes along. Everything is in flux, nobody knows where this is going but I love that Sarah is part of a movement instead of just a party spokesmouth because there are too many of those around and you know that their loyalty is to the party and not the nation.

A movement is like the ocean and a political party is like a boat. The ocean moves the boat, the boat does not move the ocean.

At least she didn’t change it to, “It’s Complicated.”

It is complicated, though. It's damn hard to be a conservative voting for Republicans.

Well I certainly understand why she did that. Good for her.

She’s aready said she is NOT running as a third party.

Good! Maybe she'll run on the Mainstream All American Tea Party ticket. It's the Republican party that is the "third party".

Don’t you ever wonder what motivates those $10,000 a plate donors? How many are wealthy patriots and how many want something in return? This is crony capitalism.
