It will be Perry for the GOP

Gov. Rick Perry will win the GOP nomination for the presidency.

Here's why. Mitt Romney is a certified RINO, a ruling class Republican of the type that spawned the Tea Party. There would be no Tea Party were it not for big government, country club Republicans like Mitt Romney.

Herman Cain does not have the money or organization to go the distance, Newt Gingrich is too flawed personally, Michelle Bachmann is out of gas, and Ron Paul is and will always be a fringe candidate. Rick Santorum has yet to gain any real traction and that is unlikely to change.

Rick Perry, on the other hand, has the organization, experience, resources and, most of all, the values to go the distance.

No thanks. He would be a disaster as a candidate. Nobody likes illegal immigration but Perry fans. Many of them are willing to sacrifice the country at the altar of Perry.

He goes to La Raza meetings and sucks up.

He wants our vote and calls us names.

Are you kidding me?

I wish people would stop talking about how Perry can win just because they want him to. I can tell you why he won't be the nominee. He isn't a Conservative, and had a huge drop in the polls based primarily on his pro-illegal immigration record. People can't lie enough to change people's views on an issue as serious as this to anyone except RINO’s, who don't care about the destruction illegal immigration causes our nation. They don't see it as a serious issue which is why some really believe Perry can make a comeback. The people who dropped their support for Perry, almost overnight once they found out how liberal his immigration policy was will not be coming back to him because the issue is too serious to be forgiven like that. There is another candidate who is leading Perry by a wide margin who has spoken out against illegal immigration in a more aggressive way than any Presidential candidate leading the polls in their lifetime, because he understands it's what the majority of Americans have wanted for years according to polls, but have been ignored and disrespected by politicians who instead have pandered to illegal immigrants the way Perry has in a total disconnect between voters and politicians that doesn't exist in such a dramatic way with any other issue. That's why Perry cannot, and deservingly so, regain the huge amount of support he's lost.

Perry doesn’t really inspire me but whatever. At least he isn’t talking about a new 9% federal sales tax on every goddarned thing. I’m still voting for Bachmann in the primary for whatever its worth either way.

While Perry is not a perfect candidate, he blows the doors off RINO Romney.

Hard choice....a RINO or a turncoat democrat......

Hardly; the "turncoat democrat" should be the hands' down favorite because he knows precisely what the democrat party is all about and made a conscious, deliberate decision that the democrat party no longer reflected American values and that the republican party did. That's a most valuable bit of introspection and means that the "turncoat" can be counted on to be much more committed to those values than someone like mittens would be.

Perry has shown he is a RINO.

I know that is ‘heartless’ but it is the way it is.

Romney’s a very wealthy senior citizen who feels entitled to the presidency.

No worries about his having an interest in anyone else’s administration.

Perry has put the pen to legislation to defund Planned Parenthood with the result that some Planned Parenthoods have already closed.

He does not have a prayer actually and he should get out and endorse Cain. However Herman will get his votes before the SC primary anyway.

I think the fact that Cain is NOT awash in big donor cash is what makes him attractive to most people. He is not bought and paid for. Crony capitalism is a big problem and I think Perry’s money will ultimately be a negative.

You seem to think the fuel taxes etc. will go away just because of the 999. Are you saying the transportation department is going to do away with fuel tax, the states are going to do away with delivery tax because of 999? LOL, not likely, more then likely the states will RAISE their taxes, people will end up with the same nets and have an additional sales tax as well.

McCain was broke at this time too. Perry can’t verbalize simple phrases without stumbling. I don’t think he will be our candidate. Herman Cain has the momentum and time will tell if he can withstand the attacks, because they will go after him with all they have. The press and the Democrats that is.

“Newt Gingrich is too flawed personally”

Straight from the talking points…
We’re electing a President, it ain’t American Idol or a Pope.
Let him who is without sin… …get the beam out of his own eye.
Another flawed analysis.
