The single biggest factor in a child's education is the PARENT, This week we had parent conferences. We had hours in the evening and during the day, so that we could accomodate every one. I have over 60 studetns, and 1 Parent showed up.
What message is that sending to the kids. I see my studetns for 90 minutes and that is 85 minutes more then some of their parents.
People want to improve the system but want others to get their hands dirty. then they sit wriong their hands and say; "Woe is me, Woe is my child."
