You forgot about Huntsman, the candidate who actually WORKED in the Obama administration! Now you have Herman blaming Perry and Perry blaming Romney for outing Cain's sexual harassment allegations. I agree with you, is this the best we could do?

Really really stupid move on Newt’s part.
And ya know what, that little error in judgment is the single biggest question mark I have toward Newt. But ya know what else? My Republic is far more important to save, than that stupid move is significant. You may not agree, but that’s why we have these ‘political seasons’ of discontent.
I am ill over the Dems dirty tricks this week and the political silly season has just begun. It is going to be a long year to the next election.
Newt is part of the Establishment Republican Leadership and as such he is an enemy of We the People. They only exist for their kind, not for the rest of us. That is why he was so comfortable with Her Pelosi. That is also why he was open to the Global Warming Scam. He sees a Global Government as a solution not the Huge Final Problem that is will be.
Newts personal character sucks. His marital mess shows it, but there are other signs.
Yes, he is well read. But like I previously said, in my opinion he is on the wrong team. Not the team of We the People.
I would also like to call attention to another thing I noticed this week.
Shortly after Rick Perry gave the speech about taking a sledge hammer and later a wrecking ball to DC, he fell out of favor with the “establishment”. That in my opinion is why he is being zeroed in on over the Cain nonsense.
I hate dirty politics, and the Dems practice an extremely vile version of it.
Did you notice how the script from Nazi Pelosi differed from what Newt said? ... I thought that little slide from ‘climate change’ to Nazi’s inference of we can change your habits of use of energy so the climate can be saved was interesting, illustrative of the deceit usually practiced by commie democrats (truth ignored, that if we stopped burning ALL fossil fuels for 100 years, the effect would lowerr global temps by just over a degree), and Newt couldn’t take back his being duped by Nazi and her fleet of liars once he’d been video taped. Like I’ve said, Newt falling for the typical lies is what I want him to explain. He’s way smarter than that, as the video I linked to shows, where he dismantledd Goron’s hoax.
Newt knows the truth.
But Newt has his own agenda.
Newt is not what we need, we need a patriot not a POL.

Opinions vary. I happen to believe Newt is precisely what we need to clean the filth in Washington. He knows where the skeletons are buried, he’s been vilified by these same empty souls so he has reason to be suspicious of their every move, and he knows how to get legislation into and out of the pipeline. It is going to take a lot of new legislation to fix what barry bassturd and the enemy democrats with help from the feckless pubbies has wrought upon American free enterprise. Newt is the kind of brilliance we need, IMHO. His fox paw with Nazi Pelicanosie is not even significant when compared to saving this Republic. Newt will hit the Oval Offcie knowing from day one what must get done in the first year. Too many other of the candidates will have a year or two learning curve. My Republic can’t wait for that to maybe arrive.
Newt knows what the problems are, but he is a part of it. He will not fix it.
I cannot get excited about him at all.
Nothing he can do at this point will change my opinion of him.
What has been seen, cannot be unseen.
