I think this was the best debate so far this year. I really like how Newt stood up to defend his stance on immigration. Who do you think won?

POLL: Who won the 11/22/2011 CNN Republican National Security Debate? Vote: Click Here

Without a doubt it was Newt, our former speaker and next president.

*** And get this---Perry even tried a Reaganesque, "There you go again." ***

Sheesh, what a dunce. I'm glad I missed it.

*** That cost him bigtime----daring to imitate The Gipper-----one new poll showed Perry at zero %. ***

Zero%?!?
As in: 'Nothing', 'Nobody', 'No Way', 'No How'??

After that 'news' Ricky needs to pack his saddle bags and get on his pony and ride back to his ranch while sloooooooowly fading into the sunset. Though Anita will likely kick him out of the 'Big House' now and make him sleep in the Bunkhouse with the wranglers and cowboys.

Speaking of Anita----Rick introed himself and Anita last night, mentioning endless years of wedded bliss...and that "They" were asking for support.

Un-frickin-believable. He still does not know a husband and wife governing team are anathema to conservatives?

Perry is oblivious to that fact that voters are wary of a losing candidate with money to burn. Perry’s deluge of Fox ads News cost him $975,000; he’s spent $2.8 million on ads the last few weeks alone, begging for support in Iowa, NH and SC.......far more than any other candidate in the race.

Perry has engineered the losingest strategy in presidential politics, to date: personally insulting and demeaning the people he needs to vote for him; cueing his supporters to insult and demean them; showing his contempt for the process. And he has the gall to ask for support?

Perry’s three ads — a bio spot, an anti-Obama spot, and even one stupidly characterizing himself as an “outsider” —— are ludicrous.

All of Perry’s moves show his utter contempt for voters and for the American electoral process. Long past time for a candidate polling in single digits to wake up to reality and go home.

For Perry-—it’s been downhill ever since the debates.

(1) Perry has been raising money for years to run; he entered the race with three PACs (that we know of)......teeming with money.

(2) Perry cunningly did not actually enter the first contest-—the Iowa Straw Poll——instead he calculatedly manipulated the vote from Texas. That was supposed to take him over the top. He got a pathetic 700 write-ins——but there he was front and center, posing in front of Iowa banners-—waving the victory sign——as if he was the winner.

He stomp ed all over Bachmann’s first place win with 4000 votes-—she worked long and hard and spent money in the state.”Team player” Perry threw his hat in the very day Bachmann won-—stopping her hard-earned momentum.

Due to his debating fiascos, Perry went from top dog to gutter turd in no time.

OH, yes...more conservative per current border? Depends on what Perry really intends to do with this open invitational. Perry certainly not more conservative in his plan for remedy. That he has a 'blind spot' as well, for Islam; only doubles America's trouble.

Meantime, Newt has more serious plans for border control; than Perry might dream of.

Let the law- abiding - and employed - stay here. And insure a plan in place to halt what has been, heretofore - and for years - an invitation. If you are a criminal or a gang member - a guarantee you are outta here! Stop automatic citizen rights per those children born of illegals who are wanting just that. Close the borders - and then get really serious about those that determinedly ignore the signs. NO, NADA per rewarding their illegal entry; save the law walking them 'back 'home' or into jail or both. No rights: no rights; nada, this time around.

This is just the beginning of Newt's plan for illegals and to repair a system that he knows is totally broken.

Newt pledges to control the border by January 1, 2014, waiving any regulations and pushing aside any bureaucracies that get in the way. . .

More on Newt's "10 steps to a legal Nation"... (Far more Conservative than Perry would even attempt.)

Law abiding? They are here illegally stealing social services, etc.

Newt is a CFR-style RINO...amnesty, global warming, and whose knows what else.

My biggest problems with illegals ... other than that they ARE illegal.

1. They come here to steal us blind--- they ride the US gravy train with multiple identities which "impoverished" illegals buy for several thousand dollars each. Vote-crazed candidates do not directly address this outrage---- probably b/c illegals vote several times each, using forged and faked ID's. - "... but Perry won't touch it with a ten foot pole since he collapsed over his in-state tuition handouts. Neither can be trusted to do what's necessary....... cut out ALL benefits.

2. Illegals have no intention of becoming Americans. They pocket all the US benefits they can get, and want to force their culture on the rest of us. NO candidate EVER questions their loyalties........and the threat this poses to US N'tl security.

Do they really care about this country? Do they even understand this country beyond what they can GET from it. Read on.

==========================================

DID PERRY MAKE A DEAL WITH LA RAZA to place Raza studies (Mexican-American studies) in Texas schools?

Raza studies have been taught in Arizona for a decade...... then they passed a law against it.... but it still goes on.

RAZA STUDIES One of the textbooks used is titled “Occupied America,” which was written by Rodolfo Acuña and includes a speech given by activist and university professor Jose Angel Gutierrez in which he says: “We have got to eliminate the gringo, and what I mean by that is if the worst comes to the worst, we have got to kill him,” (pg. 323). The book also talks about the need for Mexico to re-take seven states in the Southwestern United States.

The following rather shocking quotes are taken directly from Occupied America (pg. 167):

“Supporters would execute all White Males over age 16,” (also known as the Plan of San Diego).

“The Southwest would become a Chicano nation.”

In addition to using taxpayer funds to enforce such polarizing beliefs in Latino children in traditional public schools, the organization known as La Raza operates 100 charter schools across the country.

The following is a select list of La Raza charter schools:

-La Academia Semillas del Pueblo (Los Angeles)

-Atzlan Academy (Tucson, AZ)

-Mexicayotl Academy (Nogales, AZ)

-The Dolores Huerta Prepatory High School (Pueblo, CO)

-Academia Cesar Chavez Charter School (St. Paul, MN)

In 2005 alone, $7.9 million in taxpayer funding was given out to these charter schools in the form of U.S. Department of Education grants. These schools stress Latino culture, the Spanish language, the re-conquest of the American Southwest, the establishment of the mythical Atzlan, and even Aztec math.

. . . . More at # 88.

Thanks, Liz.

Am for making the best of them legal. As for illegally stealing services; think you would have to check on the States that offer them.

I want the borders closed...and we must in fact DEAL with this. As for those long-standing; employed etc.

I say find a way. Personally, would rather have these folks settled in, than the Islamic Middle Eastern's that are now being invited, ushered in, under false pretenses into our country; who; do NOT share America's 'values'. And, who, by their own beliefs; (threats/promises) definitely, threaten our Country.

” CONCLUSION Looks like Perry’s policy of appeasement with Mexico is working fine——no Texas border shootings as long as Mexico gets what it wants from Perry: passage of the Dream Act, in-state tuition, Perry’s promising no Arizona- type laws in Texas........and so on, and so forth, ad infinitum, ad nauseasum. “

Sure does !

“Am for making the best of them legal.”

Am for sending all of them back. There is an important principle at stake as well as a lot more. The “best” can apply for a visa like EVERYBODY else.

The “legal” Mohammedans are a separate issue. They need to be encouraged to repatriate, especially those admitted under “diversity” quotas.

NO matter who becomes Prez...can guarantee "we" will not be sending back, families who have settled here; and who are gainfully employed and who have not devolved to the 'criminal' MO"s - no matter "what" a candidate espouses! It is NOT - NOT, going to happen. Time to move on to "next best thing'.

These illegals will NOT be entitled to Citizenship period. They can live here legally - but not be entitled to any Citizenship. Only those who come legally, would have that right. And while this becomes SOP - we secure our Country. At that point illegals are sent home.

Read Newt,s plan - it makes much more sense than all the other "tripe" out there; that will not happen, in any event. We will however, be stuck with second rate/tier Leadership.

How does that work for those of you, with'head-in-sand per realty.

It is a matter of will. If people here lack the will to send the criminal illegals - and all illegals are criminals - then you are giving the country away and will become permanent slaves of a welfare state with a third world culture. I hope you like it.

As for their not becoming citizens...surely you jest. Letting them stay is just the first step. They and the political class will then go on to the next step, which will be citizenship.

Newt is a weasel.

Nope; don't like it. But not the first time; nor the last time; that I will not 'like it' either. As for 'Will'; it is a matter of NO WILL - years, and years of of no will; that has brought us to where we are today. We cannot go back and change those years. We can, however; fix the future; before it is too late; and we can 'make changes' that make the past, less of a threat.

You may not want to 'walk that walk' but that IS the only path forward. Conservatives should not be so irretractible so as to find themselves preferring to shoot themselves in both feet; rather than take those steps.

Being Conservative should not equate with a dense stubborness as in seeing only a tree; when there is a forest. Good grief; we have so many critical issues and we are desperate for Leadership that knows 'what for'.

Conservatives who do not 'get it'; are worse than weasels. There is no excuse for ignorance when one's future history demands otherwise.

But may be too much too ask for when we have a 'gathering' of folks who support Ron Paul; or think ex-Dem Perry, whose brain, is literally and perhaps permanently; tied behind his back. . .can somehow; be a 'world class, Republican President'. OR - that Cain; whom I like very much; but shares his rationale that 'he learned to make pizzas; so he can learn to be President' (we do not have time for a 'learning curve') and seems to think his 'Democrat wife' is a non issue. All of which 'clinch' it for me.

(Are we really this insane - or this desperate?

We have a candidate who is intelligent; experienced; and capable of great leadership and vision. Not perfect; but then; that is what people voted for last election.

But hey; to be clear; and to my point; I will vote for whatever Repub we have. Will not pick up my marbles and go home on an issue; as I do know; that an Obama success; eliminates all possibilities for America's success; and for generations to come. And while 'immigration' is a suffering; cannot bear more; the thought of our Military being used and insulted; damned if not destroyed, should Obama be their Commander-in-Chief.

Newt, Romney, Newt, Pomney....not much to choose from. The R establishment and CFR will be happy though.

I hope you understand the significance of Wednesday’s failed German bond auction. With what is coming, a statist like Newt is very dangerous.

A statist like Romney? Perry? Cain; who really does not know 'what' really, he is; without pressure coming to bear. . .

NO; I will stick with Newt. He does, albeit 'finally' recognize just how dark are the forces at work; and he knows they are 'anti-Capitalist' and more specifically, Marxist/communist inspired. He is quite aware of the ever rising Islamist threat to our country as well. Most importantly; that coming from inside our borders.

Newt is a Patriot; No question; and he does not fear those who rep the anti-America cause. And he is NOT one of them. Forget the 'statism' on behalf of Newt. His vision for America is NOT Obama's or Mitt's; for that matter.
