OCCUPIERS CAN SAVE AMERICA--REALLY.
With all the complicated proposed political fixes out there, WebToday would like to propose the one of the simplest solutions of all: Encourage the Occupiers to start of 3rd Party that embodies all their angst.
But doing so, they could save America.
Not by winning, but by losing. More specifically by splitting the Democrat vote.
The outcome would look something like this:
Obama: 35% Occupiers: 13% Virtually any GOP candidate: 52%
Do, do the patriotic thing: Donate some time, talent or treasure to the Occupy Political Party!

They would never split from the Great American Socialist Democrat Party.
The Occupiers could save us by POing NYers to a point that they vote out the libs. But I would not count on that anytime soon.
It depends upon who THAT republican is....
I believe it was Saul David Alinsky who came up with the idea of blackmailing Democratic candidates with a third party communist candidate. The idea was to force the Democratic platform to adopt the communist talking points and philosophy to prevent losses by splitting the vote. Once the Democratic candidate was onboard the word would go out to vote for him as Alinsky realized third party candidates would not work well in the overall political picture.
It doesnt seem likely that the radical left would abandon the Democrats in sufficient percentages to cause an overall loss to the Occupy crowd. The Occupy crowd is fringe even among Democrats and Democrats are still smarting from their votes for Ralph Nader.
Never going to happen...forming a third party actually takes work.....something occupiers know very little about
Never let them have the talking stick.
That’ll help.
Would the OWS losers be smart enough to file all the necessary papers to form/register, etc., a national party? There isn’t much intelligence on display at any of those occupied parks. Who controls their legal arm?
Unforunately, you may be right on the money with your topic. Hope you’re wrong.
