Sickening! Judge's Addiction Means New Trials for Torture/Murder/Rape Convicts
WATE News, Knoxville ^

Posted on 12/01/2011 7:53:48 PM PST by ferrgus

The four pieces of human filth who brutally raped and murdered a young Knoxville couple are all getting new trials, thanks to the drug-addicted judge who presided over the cases.

Former judge Richard Baumgartner bought extensively from the convicts in his own drug court. He considered himself above the law but finally got caught. Because he was high much of the time he was presiding over the trials, the families of the victims get to hear yet again how their children were savagely beaten, raped and mutilated before finally being killed.

If there's any upside to this, it's that the cases were so clear-cut that it's highly unlikely that any of these sacks of pestilential excrement will be set free. However, from what I'm hearing it's also unlikely that Baumgartner will face any real punishment for his actions.

That’s horrible.

Hopefully they’ll still get the death penalty.

If I were feeling mean and vindictive, I would suggest that the “judge” in question should be sentenced to the same term in prison that the 4 perps get ... and that his sentence should be served in the same prison cell that they occupy.

If that poor family has to go through the disgusting defense tactics again, I fear the girl’s father will snap. He could barely contain himself last time to the point it was too painful to see him in the courtroom.

Judge is gonna face some punishment.

What everbody out there needs to understand is the corruption and “above the law” mindset is in EVERY AMERICAN METROPOLIS, CITY, TOWN, BURG, AND WIDE SPOT IN THE ROAD.

I’m about to go on a screaming rant that would get me banished for life. Or the next three.

Sit on your a44es peeple and let it go on.

Your next POTUS is a gonna save us.

SPIT.

I PRAY for CWII.

This is one of the most horrendous crimes I had ever read about. It still makes me sick to think about. Now, these families have to relive this again in court. Horrible. They should be able to sue his Judge for damages. Sue him for malpractice. Why NOT!!!!!!!!

If he's not imprisoned for a very lengthy sentence... at least he should be disbarred, lose all pensions and perks, tarred and feathered, placed in stocks in the public square and give the victims family a few whips to vent with. (How I sometimes long for the good old days.)

Judges never have to face consequences for their action.

In Florida a missing womans kids (Peoples Court case) were sent to the father, the prime suspect.

This is horrendous. Also, that was probably the worst written news article I’ve ever read. But, that pales in comparison.

I can’t believe these poor families will have to sit through this again because of some junkie judge.

Unbelievable.

This story, more than anything else I can remember, really makes me think our nation is on a downward path.

His record should be examined for YEARS past.
Class action suit by all who entered his “court”.
Have him go “cold turkey” in jail.

I could barely stand to read about this crime..and only read details once..
My heart aches for the victims’ families..They have to go through the strain of a trial again..Lord, help them.

The judge should suffer mightily..

>> He considered himself above the law but finally got caught.

This is horrible news.

The sad fact is, crooked and law-breaking judges (and cops and others acting in an official capacity) are the worst criminals of all.

Prayers up for the victims’ families. They should NOT be forced to endure this torture again.

This issue should have been moot by now. Those four bastards should have been hauled out to the nearest wall after their convictions and shot dead.

It would be kinda one-sided where you come from. You could find some liberal nutburger living in a shed somewhere.

True as far as it goes. He was burned to death and she was bound inside several garbage bags and thrown into a bin and left to suffocate.
