Show me the business model that accounts for the ever-increasing medical expenses of seniors while those same people are usually on a fixed income.

time nor space permits a full response. Milton Friedman, Mises, Hayek and many other great economists have explained at length how government is NEVER a solution.

If government NEVER became involved in heath care, there currently would not be a "crisis" of medical costs and delivery. There would certainly be superior medical care delivered in a more timely manner. It is all unknown because the governments destruction of health care did not allow advancements to come into existence.

Remember when we had "brick" cell phones? Imagine at that time that the government obtained essential control over the industry. There is no way we would have advanced to the smart phones, etc we have today. Government only impedes progress.

Education and Health care are two major areas that government is destroying. Imagine true freedom in education and health care -- the advances we have seen in cell phones and computers would have occurred in those industries (and others) Public schooling is still stuck in the 1880's model we adopted from the Germans; truly insane. Sorry for the rant.

I see that Jim has already answered you much, much better than I could, but I will tell you that I’m the one who used to call him Newt Samsonite Gingrich.

None of that matters to me anymore. We’re in the fight for our Republic against the evil Marxist and his corrupt administration, all of whom have to be thrown out out office and swept from the Department’s of Justice, State and Defense for starter’s!

As always, you have precisely defined the battle ahead and also crystallized the essence of Conservatism. Liberals are governed almost solely by raw emotions and get wedded to a single idea much like children. For example, they continue to embrace the myth of AGW in spite of the science not being settled, in fact, evidence accumulates daily that global warming is a phantom.

Conservatives are made of better stuff. We are analytical types and use our God-given power of reason to evaluate circumstances. Consequently, the Conservative mind is nimble and with that mental acuity (which liberals lack) comes the ability to be agile. Thoughtfulness is trait of true Conservatives. Therefore, given the present situation, Newt Gingrich presents the best opportunity to depose the communist from his position of power.

I think also that we Conservatives don't look to our politicians as leaders any more than we idolize them (as the leftists do with Zero). Instead, we rightfully see politicians as servants of WE THE PEOPLE. In essence, President Newt Gingrich will be our employee and we'll be his boss...and we'll let him know that!

I’m not here to knock Newt. I’m done with that.

But I’m not giving up on the other candidates just yet, especially not Perry.

Newt’s support is large but it’s paper thin. I don’t sense any deep love or commitment to Newt as we saw with Palin or Cain.

Don’t worry, Romney will not get the nomination. His support is weakening, not growing.

Still hoping for Perry !!

I miss Glenn Beck on FOX!!!! Can’t stand “the five” except for Greg G - too much cackling, too much talking over each other, too much silliness, short skirts, eeeegads!! Bring Beck Back!!!!!!!!

I SO agree, Saundra! I have no time nor inclination right now to figure out how to get GBTV via some thing called a Roku. And I already pay for cable, I don't want to have to pay for yet another subscription and component.

My elderly in-laws (in Florida) paid lots of $$$ to Best Buy's Geek Squad to get them all set up with a Roku and a subscription to GBTV. They've watched a few of his GBTV shows (I've never seen them) and decided they like the old FNC Beck show much better. They said they don't care for the GBTV show at all, frankly. After all of the hassle and expense, they don't watch Beck anymore. What a waste.

I haven't seen Glenn since the day he signed off of FNC, and I don't really like his radio show, which seems to have many more commercials per hour than Rush's show. Too much giggling by Beck's annoying sidekicks, too.

I think Beck is blowing it by not reaching millions of viewers every day via Fox News. He could be doing his FNC show and GBTV...

Whatever, Glenn...

WOW! Thank you very much for you very kind words. I agree that we don't idolize our presidents, but sure held President Reagan, in the highest of esteem’s and admittedly, I loved that man and leader. Of course, he was one in a lifetime.

As to this election, the Marxist's evil work has to be stopped and obamacare has to be undone. Completely repealed and torn from the roots, unless of course SCOTUS does it for us before the election. Nonetheless, the election will still remain a referendum on and about him and Marxism. Let him win reelection and he will think his policies have won.

Entire Federal Departments are corrupt and filled with thugs. Pensioned federal employees hired by this administration whom I suspect have no allegiance to our country. All his czars. All have to go.

A wholesale cleansing of all federal departments and the closing of several.

Obama’s a Marxist abortionist. Romney’s a liberal progressive abortionist. And Gingrich is all of the above and a Global Governance freak! JWK

As Newt's actions show today in his interview with Beck, he's playing us.

And he’s laughing at us while doing it.

As much as I read and re-read what I wrote, I simply can not find where I said, “vote for Obama”. Hmmm Maybe I used invisible ink?

And a vote for a Third Party candidate is a vote for a Third Party Candidate ... NOT Obama.

No Netw. No Romney.
