No one can ever accuse Glenn Beck of toeing the line.
Over the weekend Beck followed up last week's headline-making interview with Newt Gingrich with an appearance on Judge Andrew Napolitano's Fox Business show.
Beck, who is no fan of what he terms Gingrich's "progressive" politics, declared that Gingrich is the "only candidate I cannot vote for" before taking a rather brutal (if totally true to form)swipe a Tea Party supporters.
If you have a big government progressive, or a big government progressive in Obama… ask yourself this, Tea Party: Is it about Obama’s race? Because that’s what it appears to be to me. If you’re against him but you’re for this guy, it must be about race. I mean, what else is it? It’s the policies that matter....

IMO, Beck has never been intellectually consistent. We all saw his Fox TV shows where he would have 55 minutes of wonderful exposes on the communists and marxists in the Obama White House - and then he’d spend the last 5 minutes insisting that “but it isn’t a Republican or a Democrat thing” or “it isn’t a left or a right thing.”
And I’m thinking: Damn Glenn, it sure the fk is an R or D thing or a L or R thing. What are you thinking?
Why I never liked him too much. But then again, many many Freepers would FLAME ME for saying so a year ago.
Heck, even the Tea Party is anti Tea Party these days.
Just yesterday I read some posts here that indicated that the Tea Party was nothing but faithful Republican Kool-Aide drinkers.

Beck does have the right to support third party.
And I have the right to say that it contradicts 90% of what he claims to stand for and want - because of the inevitable consequences related to it.
So yes, he has the right to be totally intellectually inconsistent and incoherent. And we have the right to notice it.

I didn’t trust him the moment I saw him. Hubby liked him and wanted to watch back in the earlier days but I just couldn’t stand him and did not trust a thing he said, but I had no idea why. Then I found out what it was about him that bugged me, he acted like a typical Mormon pesthood (priesthood) holder.
And I’ve been flamed more than once on here for not liking Beck and very seriously flamed when he made that stupid Dead Sea Scrolls/Council of Nicaea comment last year.
I feel your pain. BTW, you might find this interesting. It is from Feb 22 of last year - and you’ll see I was fairly complimentary but did point out Glenn’s intellectual inconsistencies. I was nicer than I wanted to be (editor’s demand).

Beck is obviously running a stealth campaign for his coreligionist Huntsman.
The next huge, floating, puffed-up contraption you see in the sky won’t be the Goodyear or Fuji blimps. It’ll Glenn Beck’s head.
Just to apply a little logic to Beck’s statement.
First it’s crazy to say Obama and Gingrich are indistinguishable politically, there being so many differences of party, policy, appointments, etc.
BUT even if it could be true, WHY would tea partiers have any obligation to vote for Obama???? They are not allowed to prefer Gingrich, or republicans, or older presidents, or one with different experience??
Anyone who votes for Newt Gingrich becomes a racist by virtue of Glenn Beck’s special sauce?
