Islamic Honor Killing In Texas: "Santa Killer" Was Muslim Who Hated Daughter Dating A Non-Muslim
Dallas Morning News, HumanEvents, Jihad Watch Blog via Atlas Shrugs ^ | December 27, 2011

The mainstream media has reported this as the "Santa killer." No mention that it was an Islamic honor killing until this Dallas Morning News story. Our daughters and granddaughters are going to be the ones who will suffer because of for this obfuscation and excusal of barbarism.

This has been going on for years. When Amina and Sarah Said were brutally murdered by their father, also in Texas, on New Year’s Day 2008 for the same reason -- having non-Muslim boyfriends -- I thought, this is it. This is going to break the dam wide open. America would not, could not possibly, ignore this horror caused by and sanctioned by Islamic beliefs, assumptions, and attitudes.

And yet America continues to ignore this horror. And more and more people are victimized every day.

Aziz Yazdanpanah, a Muslim, didn't like his daughter's non-Muslim boyfriend and was exhibiting stalker behavior. “She couldn’t date at all until she was a certain age, but when he was going to let her date she couldn’t date anyone outside of their race or religion.”

Again and again we have seen honor killings in which fathers kill daughters who are dating non-Muslims or have supposedly besmirched the family honor by some sexual indiscretion. Lt. Todd Dearing says that motive isn't important -- which is generally only the case when Islam is involved.

"Neighbors horrified at news of family’s slayings in Grapevine," by Gloria Salinas and Scott Goldstein for the Dallas Morning News, December 26 (snip)

a more ominous portrait emerged of Yazdanpanah in interviews with some of his daughter’s other classmates.

“She would come to school crying and telling us her dad was crazy,” said Lacie Reed, 18. “He wouldn’t let her wear certain things. He was always taking her phone away, checking her call history and checking her text messages.”

Friends said Nona’s father had installed cameras all around the home so he could watch the family’s comings and goings. Others said he nailed her bedroom window shut so she could not sneak out at night and see her boyfriend.

“She couldn’t date at all until she was a certain age, but when he was going to let her date she couldn’t date anyone outside of their race or religion,” Reed said.

The message, the friend said, went like this: “What do u call a guy who’s born in Austin and grows up in Dallas and then dies in Grapevine? ......... DEAD."

Hmm...

If they were muslims why where they opening Christmas presents?

There are no absolutes in human nature. These Muslims had lived in the US for a very long time, and had adopted many (if not most) of our Western customs. Doesn't mean that they had also abandoned all of their Muslim religious customs.

There's no doubt that the father was disturbed about his daughter dating a non-Muslim man, and being on the verge of striking out on her own. Somewhere between the pressures of his business collapsing, losing his home, separating from his wife, and being twisted in knots about his daughter's social life, the guy snapped.

I think you’ve inferred a purpose not intended. I am not INSISTING they aren’t Muslim. Rather, I am questioning the family’s behavior as it has been reported in the various stories I HAVE followed since the story broke. You remember, back when everyone was SURE they were Hispanics? Or maybe black?

Call it stereotyping, but that family’s behavior simply does not conform to the typical recent Middle Eastern Muslim immigrants. They sure aren’t ‘practicing’ Muslims if they were celebrating Christmas. Christians are fine with anyone who wants to celebrating and enjoying the secular side of Christmas. Muslims of the islamicized variety do not celebrate Christmas. They probably find it a beheading-worthy offense.

I am merely speculating that this family came to the US around the time of the fall of the Shah, when Iran was far more secular, and are not what we have come to recognize as Muslims or at least Islamicized Muslims who do ‘honor killings.’

When the dust settles, I would venture this will turn out to have nothing to do with ‘honor killings,’ the thesis of this article, but rather a despondent madman who took out his whole family.

Maybe that's why they were killed.

But they were killed by “Bob!” Methinks Bob Formerly Known as Aziz was atypical of the stereotype, as well as his victims.

Yup.....most of us agree that illegal immigration needs to stop, but in the meantime legal immigration is killing us in this PC culture. Parts of France, like parts of England are lost because of their legal immigration. We need a time-out.

Thanks for posting. Thanks to all posters. A muslim Santa Claus bringing gifts and good cheer? No, deceit and death. A glimpse inside the Mohammaden mind. The jihad continues.

Condolences to the friends of the innocent victims.

I recall making a case for a moratorium on legal immigration on another board, almost ten years ago. A sensible country (such as America used to be) would do just that, to allow the wave of new immigrants time to assimilate, and become real Americans.

I think that's a very good analysis of the killer's modus operandi.

I’m afraid that the West, including the United States, is in the middle stages of a cultural collapse so vast that there is no turning back.

See my post 102. Just because the family had assimilated many American ways, doesn't mean that they completely gave up their Muslim religious ideals.

Personally, I think several different factors played into this killing.

This is more than just 'honor killing' because he didn't just kill his daughter he killed the entire family.

There is nothing out of character about that. In fact it is a signature of Islamic honor killings.

Baby born out of wedlock must be adopted - to save her from honour killing by her own Muslim family

The baby’s maternal grandmother told police that if her husband ever found out about the little girl, ‘he would consider himself honour-bound to kill the child, the mother, the grandmother herself and the grandmother’s other children’, the court heard.

With gun sales authorized inside the US to foreigners now, we remember the words, “a civilian army, just as well armed, just as well funded.”

Nowhere did 0bama say those making up such a force would be US citizens. Fast and Furious? How about Quick and under-the-radar Quiet?

Legal foreign residents have always been allowed to buy firearms.

Scary thought, isn't it?

I think I hear the theme to The Twilight Zone playing in the background... 'Course I've been hearing that a lot since January, 2009.

If the killing had been done by a conservative Christian, 'Santa's' religion would be mentioned in the headline.

That’s what happens when you go from the ‘melting pot’ to the ‘tossed salad.’

or in this case, from the melting pot to the chamber pot.

I read the breaking story yesterday and then watched it on the local CBS
station. Within one hour the CBS station deleted the neighbors TV interview
identifying the family as Strict Muslim from Iran. I recorded the interview from online
because as I thought, CBS cleaned up the online interview also.

This whole thing has been a media cover-up from the start protecting Americas enemy, Muslims.

Here is the link to the interview.
