Doesn't the First Lady have access to the some of the most experienced fashion and etiquette advisers?
Also,...anomalous dichromatism would not account for bra straps hanging out of sleeves of too tight blouses, hems dripping out of the back of her coats, slits up the back of the skirt so high that if she leaned over her underwear would show, wearing mini-skirts as a U.S First Lady to England, the too-tight slacks with the gaping pockets and wrinkles and pantie lines across the back and thighs. ( There's more, but hopefully you get the idea.)
**Any** common neighborhood seamstress or tailor could completely eliminate these horrendous fashion errors. There is no reason whatsoever for Michele Obama to be wearing ill-fitting clothing! Hey! Even little ole’ **me** and my Singer sewing machine could give her a hand with it.

In virtually any other context, I would agree with you, but if you recall, just a month before Halloween, Michelle was strong-arming Olive Garden into a lower salt pledge, and she's been almost as strong an anti-sodium Nazi as Bloomberg. Virtually all her obesity/diet messages push a lower salt theme. Having her daughter dressed like that is at best curious.

This Marxist putz spends a ton of money on this crap while he’s deliberately tanking the country’s economy. You think the media would cover this up if Bush and Laura were hiding all the expensive parties if the country was going to hell like it is under Obama’s tenure?
The should have paid for the party themselves.. they have kids so they get a pass from me for having it but not for me paying for it
The problem I have with the throwing parties and stuff is that this jackass was telling us to tone down our lifestyle.. If he said nothing than the parties at the White House won’t bother me..

Honestly most of the time with just some common tailoring and seamstress adjustments she could look very nice.
There is absolutely no reason for Michele to be forced into wearing "off the rack" clothing.
As I stated above a common neighborhood seamstress or tailor could take the same fashion designs ( many of her choices are appropriate) and sew them up to fit **perfectly**!

Take a look at CONGO WOMEN some day ~ look at the pictures of what they wear.
While the Obama poor are unemployed waiting for food stamps, thier welfare check and a hope that he will send some Obama cash to pay thier rent and put gas in thier car. Suckers, let me rephrase that...........dumb a## idiots who voted for color instead of character. Wait a minute you want me to go out and get a job and earn money I could get for nothin? I am NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT saying that Michele can change her shape. And, she shouldn't be criticized for it any more than Eleanor Roosevelt should be criticized for her chin.
***BUT*** there is NO excuse for pantie lines or bra lines to be showing through her clothing, or to have too tight wrinkles across the thighs, or dress hems hanging below the back of the outer coat, slacks whose hems fall too far above the ankle line, back slits so high that bending over even an inch would show her undies, or bra straps falling out from her too tight sleeveless blouse.
All of the issues that I have pointed out above have **SIMPLE** and rather inexpensive solutions. A tailor or competent seamstress could eliminate all of the issues I listed above. She would look better and feel more comfortable as well in her clothing.
Not only would Michele look better but she would be far more comfortable as well.
Michelle cannot change her shape.
Thank you, once again, for being a voice of sanity on FR. If anything, the photos of this party make the Obamas look far more normal and mainstream than their policy positions would suggest. Attacking the things they don't do wrong invalidates the whole conservative argument against them, in the eyes of many neutral observers.
I am befuddled as to why, with access to the most exclusive etiquette and fashion advisers why she goes out looking like she does. By the way, why would her mother let her the door looking like she does?
