with cities and school districts struggling, repealing the prevailing wage laws will lower costs dramatically.... imagine having to pay a guy to throw cold patch into a pothole in the parking lot over 46 dollars an hour!!! Imagine paying a guy to dig a hole the same!!! These workers are being paid union laboror rates. (note, the actual hourly rate is 24 bucks an hour, but by the time you throw in fringes it is over 46 bucks an hour out of pocket)
