I guess you had to see the movie. Roger Kint is a quiet, timid (sweater vest wearing), small time con man who is taken in as one of two survivors at a major fire/crime scene. Under interrogation, he spins a long sordid tale ofthe arch criminal mastermind, Söze.

After Kint is released, the police (and the viewer) become aware that Kint was either , BS'ing the whole story or that he is in fact, Söze.

In the context of the post I was replying to, Santorum was small timer who needed to drop out (last week), now all of a sudden, everybody is shocked to find out he's somebody to be reckoned with.

The presidential primary is March 6th, and the Senate/Congressional primaries will be June 12th.
