Newsweek is reporting that with Iran approaching a nuclear weapon, President Obama refuses to commit to Israel that he will go to war to stop Iran, and both Israel and the United States are withholding intelligence information from each other on Iran. Newsweek also reports that while the Mossad tried feeling out Obama on Israel going it alone on Iran, Obama regards his reelection as being at least as important as the other prongs of his equation: handling Israel, keeping Iran from going nuclear and keeping world oil prices in check.
Well before he moved into the White House, Barack Obama began talking to Israel about Iran’s nuclear program, and even then there was mistrust. He met in 2008 with several leading Israelis, including Benjamin Netanyahu—before Netanyahu was elected prime minister—and impressed everyone with his determination to stop Iran from going nuclear. Netanyahu liked much of what he heard, according to a source in his inner circle. What troubled him, however, was that Obama didn’t talk specifically about Israel’s security.
Rather, he discussed Iran in the context of a broader non-proliferation policy. “He showed much command of the issues, even though it was months before he got elected,” says the Netanyahu source. “It was clear that he read and internalized things. But when he spoke about Iran and his opposition to the nuclearization of Iran ... the Israeli factor did not play prominently.”
That's a very accurate read of Obama, as we will see throughout - and have been seeing for the last five years. Obama could care less about Israel. He does care about nuclear non-proliferation. He wishes to avoid a war at all costs - including (God forbid) the destruction of the State of Israel.

No, of course Obama won’t intervene directly. He’ll force NATO to do it so his Code Pinko radicals can’t say he started a war like the mongering George Bush did.

Israel is probably smart to do so. I’d not trust obama. However, his Jewish supporters just might turn against him if tel aviv has a mushroom cloud over it before the election. So Barack Hussein has to do some more quickstep dancing...
Did you see SNL last night? They actually had a segment with fake black journalists being asked what Obama could do to lose their vote. It was pretty funny. Pretty much nothing he did would lose him their vote.
If I were Israel, I wouldn't share military info with a pro-Muslim leader like Obama either. He'd just pass it along to the Muslim Brotherhood.
If they start the fight, they don't have to finish it.

Israel has already realized it is standing without the support of its former ally that guaranteed its establishment.
Israel will go it alone when it needs to, and she will nuke the ever loving hell out of Tehran and any nuke sites she feels she needs to.
Obama won’t do anything - he’s an after-the-fact coward too busy keeping the facts from the electorate on the economy and making excuses about his failure all the way to the election.

President Obama's most influential foreign policy adviser (Valerie Jarret) was raised in Iran and is notably supportive of Muslim groups which in turn support Jihad against the West.
Obama's controller at the State Department (Samantha Powers) has long advocated US military occupation of Israel to enforce "Peace Agreements" with the Palestinians.
US military officers acting in their official capacity under instructions from the Obama regime have already warned Israel that the US strongly opposes "escalation of the conflict" with Iran, and wants Israel to give sanctions and diplomatic efforts "more time to work".
Of course somebody is killing Iranian nuclear scientists and blowing up nuclear facilities in Iran right now. It is probably not the United States.

Israel is right to stop sharing intel with us. Barry Hussein Obama, the Kenyan Muslim, is a traitor to Western civilization and the scum of the Earth. He would tip the Iranians off in a minute to sensitive intelligence data, jeopardizing both operational plans and the assets inside Iran.
Israel is going to have to go it alone. Hussein Obama will condemn Israel, but all of us except the Jew-hating left will know that they will do us a huge favor by preventing the crazy Iranians from getting a nuke.
There is bound to be a Face to Face meeting between Benjamin Netanyahu and Obama the first week of March as the AIPAC policy conference will be in Washington DC on March 3-6. You can bet that every pro Israel Congressman and Congresswomen and Senators will be in attendance as the conference is normally a Who’s Who in Washington. AIPAC being a Bipartisan group will also have invited Obama to speak. Will Obama show up to AIPAC? Or will he snub AIPAC I guess we know he will show.
