Only Newt would have the gravitas to debate Obama, because we all know the teleprompter-in-chief is such a saavy brillant public speaker that all the other Republicans cower before his intellect.
And the Supreme Court stole Florida for Bush.

Romney got nasty, Newt responded in self defense.
Santorum won, but not for the reason many would think. Newt and Mittens needed for him to melt down, blow up, or forget a cabinet department for them to make any headway. While he might not have won it technically, he did enough to keep the momentum from shifting.

I agree. Newt is the only candidate that looks and talks like a statesman and clearly won the debate.
Romney and Paul probably had one of their better debates tonight and Santorum spent most of the evening defending his congressional voting record — most of which was shameful — Planned Parenthood, Leave No Child Behind and plenty of pork. He also had a smirk that wouldn’t quit.
Gingerich/Perry in 2012. I could also live with Gingerich/West or Gingerich/Rubio.
I don’t think Santorum has a prayer (no pun intended) after tonight.

I do get stronger in support of Newt each day. A debate with “O” would be a HOOT for me!
He may be the wild card but I am afraid the others are just going to lose.
Mitt did not bother to confront the question. He just went into a prepared speech and when called on it...he showed his true attitude...”How dare you correct me...do you know who I am?”
Your second statement about Newt was on target.
I get so tired of hearing: Santorum, I AM THE ONLY ONE that........., I am the only one that........
And Mitt: I am the only one that.......! ME TOO, ME TOO, ME TOO, Pick Me, Pick Me, me too.
Winners were NEWT and PAUL, Paul for exposing Santorum as a fake as well as just being so funny.
Mitt will never be funny, or obtain the BRAIN that Newt has.
Reason being, he is too into himself. Living a lifestyle that no one can imagine, he knows nothing of the poor or middle class from whom he sucks. He has never had his hands dirty, from soil, oil, etc., he would not know how to repair a car,fix a flat tire, repair a screen door, build a house, mow a lawn. He hasn't a clue about real LIFE.
Not the type of person I want as a President, we already have that.

I don’t know about the others running for President, but the description you give about Mitt seems possible.
If you can hire everything done you miss out on the triumphs and the laughable failures!
