But Fluke said she doubted Limbaugh’s sincerity given the pressure he is facing from advertisers.

“Especially when that statement was issued when he's under significant pressure from his sponsors who have begun to pull their support from his show,” she noted.

What an ungrateful priss! That's what many of these leftist are just completely ill mannered, ignorant, elitist!

I'm so glad Rush apologized so people can clearly see the difference between the gracious nature of Rush Limbaugh and a sour puss, liberal activist!

Too late Ms. Fluke, we win. Rush doesn't need those advertisers and he's got plenty lined up right now to replace those who are more than happy to advertise with him to have a chance to reach at 20m customers!

“And let me be clear that I think his statements on the air have been personal enough about me so I'd rather not have a personal phone call from him,” she said.

End of conversation then......time to move on.

On second thought, he won’t be having any more...never mind...

I get your point well, but I'm not as sure on that...

And he shouldn’t call her. In fact he shouldn’t have apologized at all. If anyone should apologize it’s her for demanding I pay for her slutty behavior.

She should be expressly thanking Limbaugh for (albeit inadvertantly) helping her attain that most prized status in New America: Victim.

F. Mark Levin called me a big dummy once, and he’s never called me. Snooky never called me either. I think I’m going go lie on my bed and have a nice cry now....

(The above was completely fabricated, just for fun)

I wonder if Georgetown will shut her up. They can’t be too happy about the notoriety, no matter how liberal they are in their Catholic beliefs.

A. What information do you have about her sex life, as opposed to her advocacy position?

What she said about it, that she was having som much sex she can’t afford the birth control needs.

B. In your day, what did you call men who were promiscuous, as you assume she is? Depends on their conquests. Do you think men and women are the same?

I (try to) follow Christian sexual morality. It makes no distinction between what is required of men and of women.

The double standard you seem to believe in provided the opening for the wedge of feminism that is in the process of destroying the family and eventually our society.

Feminists asked, quite rightly, why sexual adventurism should be applauded in men but derided among women.

I remember a letter to Ann Landers in the mid 1960’s, asking why it is always the women who have to draw the line and set the rules. “Because women get pregnant,” was the reply. Those studs only got their conquests because women said yes. Ms. Fluke apparently says it quite a bit.

That men can more easily evade the consequences of their immoral behavior does not IMO make it any more moral.

It’s quite obvious we differ strongly on this point. In my opinion the “double standard” set the stage for our present disaster by making true defense of traditional morality very nearly impossible.

The whole idea behind the Pill and “abortion rights” has been to give women the same sexual freedom men had under the double standard. Since you apparently see nothing immoral with men, who can’t get pregnant, acquiring as many “conquests” as possible, then presumably you also see nothing immoral with women (who can’t get pregnant because they’re on the Pill and can get rid of the consequences if it fails) doing the same.

The Ann Landers argument actually supports Fluke’s position.

Biological nature and morality are often in conflict. Male human beings have a biological interest in spreading their genes far and wide. Female humans have a biological need to keep the fathers of their offspring home, supporting and protecting them and said offspring. Judeo-Christian morality supports the women’s biological need, and is in conflict with the man’s. It has the effect of preventing wars because one of the benefits to men who are victorius in war is access to more women.

Modern technology has taken the edge off the biological need of women, and has made of them the kind of sex objects that the feminists claim to hate.

BTW,we referred to overly promiscuous men as “dogs”.

On the lighter side, I think Ms. Fluke will have the honor of joining Ms. Lewinsky in lending her last name to a sex act.
