Can Romney beat Obama?

Posted on 03/07/2012 6:40:54 PM PST by seeking enlightenment

With Romney squeaking out Ohio and a few other races before I have to question his electability. Ron Paul's supporters are going to support Paul no matter what but Santorum and Gingrich are splitting the vote. If Gingrich wasn't in the race then Romney loses the close races, there is not going to be anyone to split the the vote with Obama. Romney is also spending up to six times the money of the other candidates. Obama is talking about raising 1 billion dollars so Romney will probably be on the other side of the money battle and will his leads evaporate or will he be able to close the gap in the close races when he can't outspend Obama? I know that many people will vote for anyone but Obama but Romney doesn't seem to be able to inspire most of the Republicans and conservatives to vote for him so will he be able to pull in the undecided independents when the media turns the spotlight on him, he has yet to take a serious beating by the media yet and can he take it? If the race was a two man race and Santorum or possibly Gingrich had half his money I don't think he'd get the Republican nomination. So if Romney becomes the nominee and he no longer has his advantages and the pro Obama media comes into play, can he win?

Absolutely anyone but Obama. Try to ignore the intimidators around here.

But don’t you know? If and when Newt, Sarah, etc. Toss their support to Mitt, they’ll be considered “bad Americans.”

I have to say I’m shocked. I wonder what the reaction is going to be when their candidate supports the eventual Republican nominee.

LOL, I can see them all being tossed under the bus! Newt was despised until what? 6 months ago?

When you try to stop conservatives and Christians from mentioning the cult that Bishop Romney is a powerful leader in, leadership that after this presidential effort that he is doing in service to his cult, and for which he will be rewarded with at least being made a Cardinal, and could possibly be made it’s Pope, especially if he truly fulfills the “White Horse Prophecy” then yes, that is defending it, and is a part of advancing it’s goals and maintaining it’s cover among conservatives and Christians.

Listen, this is America, people are free to be whatever Religion they choose to be, as long as my 1st amendment rights aren’t violated by ones practice of that Religion? I don’t care what they are.

Christians do care, conservatives care, we will continue to discuss all facets of the Bishop’s life, motivations, failings, candidacy, and agenda, including that he is a powerful leader in an anti-Christian cult who was granted permission from his Holy Prophet in a private meeting before launching his presidential campaign, a campaign which is being paralleled by millions in public relations spending and recruiting by the cult.

Reading your comments? I feel like I’m reading at Democratic Underground, and that’s not something to be proud of.

Of course I do, and the bashing I see about Mormonism is equal to DU’s bashing of Christians.

No you don’t, you don’t even lie well.

You really won’t like this thread, I haven’t been on it but I am mentioned there, you can go over there and do your pro-Romney routine.

My pro-conservative, pro-Christian posts, DU would never accept them, and you know it, some of your posts on the other hand, could make it over there.

Umm, I was equating your posts on Mormonism to the hatred of Christianity on display at DU.

And what posts in particular of mine would DU even allow being posted there?

LOL, what is this chatty girl time.

Go to that other thread and push your Romney/Mormon routine, it will liven things up over there.

I have absolutely no desire to post in a thread on Religion, and I think it’s despicable how you’ve been behaving in this thread.
