GEICO's R Lee Ermey Rips Obama on Stage
you tube ^ | Dec 29, 2010 | R Lee Ermey

Posted on 03/14/2012 7:09:22 AM PDT by do the dhue

Gunny Ermey tells it the way it is:

I gotta tell you folks we are having a big problem this year. The economy really sucks! I hate to point fingers at anybody but the present Administration probably had a lot to do with that. And the way I see it they are not going to quit doing it until they bring this Country to it's knees. So, I think we should all rise up and stop this Administration from what they're doing, because they're destroying this Country! They're driving us into bankrupcy so they can impose Socialism on us. And that's exactly what they're doing and I'm sick and damn tired of it. And I know you are too.

I am with progressive right now and after learning the connection with Soros I have been shopping quotes. Maybe Geico is the place for me.

It is most interesting because pProgressive is a big Obama supporter - good reason to find the Correct insurance company.

Geico is high. Are you a Vet? If so, check with USAA.

Let’s see if Geico dumps Ermey. Remember that Geico stands for Government Employee Insurance Company. What do you want to bet that they get a lot of pressure from the govvie unions?

I would say that is just the title of the youtube video too. GEICO does stand for Government Employee's Insurance Company or something like that. So, I truly don't trust them. Not because I don't trust my Government, but because I don't trust the people in the Government. Besides, I found GEICO’s rates to be high for me. I am a Vet and went with USAA. I received a really good rate with them. If you are a Vet, check them out.

Yeah. I’m wondering if he is playing the part of Hank Reardon late in Atlas Shrugged. He’s finally getting it.

GEICO stinks.
If you get into an accident, if the other guy has GEICO they won’t pay out.
Ever.
You have to then take your own insurance company to court.
And even worse, if you have a different insurance company and the guy who hit you has GEICO, they won’t pay out.
GEICO is an acronym that stands for Government Employee Insurance Company.

I’m in the market for auto insurance. My agent suggested Progressive and I said “No, thank you. I prefer to not support the Obama Administration.”

Depends on which state you are in.
State Farms was what was best in my immediate area.
Allstate is better in some places.

The chairman and founder of Progressive, Peter B. Lewis, is far less well known but makes Soros look like a Conservative. A part of every dollar you send to Flo will find its way into the pockets of the Left. The name of the company is not at all coincidental.

Progressive didn't get that name by accident. They pump millions into liberal PACs. GEICO is, of course, owned by Warren (you should pay more, but not me) Buffett. 'E'surance is owned by Quicken another lib supporter that pulled their ads from Limbaugh over the slut comments.

Auto insurance depends on how much you drive, where you live, if you're married and even your credit rating. Rates aren't always the only thing to consider. Service is the reason for insurance. If it isn't there when you need it, what good is it? We bundled homes, cars, and personal liability umbrella with Allstate and are happy with what we get for what we pay. I checked Geico a couple of years ago and for the same coverage, Allstate was better and at the time we had Berkshire stock which was supposed to translate into a discount.

Told my nephew before he went to basic in San Diego to not so much consentrate on the tone and delivery options the DI’s take on the recruits...But you’d damn well better hear what they say when they are chewing out someone else for an “issue”...

The volumn, tone and colorful metaphors, is a time saving device, that allows those who were not caught screwing up to get their act together for their’s and the platoons benefit...

This latest Ermey-ism is delievered with the same theory...We had better listen to what is being said and not allow the tone or other adult inflections cloud the true message...

I know a lot of us have probably met the guy face to face, and I can tell ya I was impressed, he didn’t even take offense to the branch of service I chose to serve this country into account...I’d go to war with him anytime, anyplace...

I bet the NRA Board of Directors meetings are a real hoot to attend if he’s around...

An all around good guy in my book...And we need to listen to what he says...

And if Geico drops him, so much the better, they need him worse than he needs them...

Whatever you decide, be sure to ask AAA for a quote. You may have to join for the best rate but, if so, it is like having a tow-truck/battery charger on retainer for $75 (=/-?) a year.

I left Geigo for Allstate when they joined the Glenn Beck boycott. Maybe they’re starting to see where he was right all along.

If you ever travel through the eastern suburbs of Cleveland on I-271, you will see Regressive Insurance and Peter B. Lewis' name plastered on more buildings than Robert Byrd ever did in West Virginia.

Well said.

And it is consistent with the Fourth Law of Thermodynamics which states, "if the heat is on someone else, it is not on you".

(Although the Law is often breached with three of them prowling around.)

Good point, but only applicable if Allstate’s entire package adds up to less than AAA. I.e., the value and importance of shopping around.
