Watch out: I had a thread pulled this morning that, like yours, posits a non-conventional-wisdom take on the EO. It is clear that the story has emerged in conservative media: this EO is no big deal. Anybody who goes against that is a kook and a conspiracy theorist.
I think that one got pulled because, per posting rules, there was no link to an external article or source of verification. Though, I'm praying your source is correct on that one. If nothing else it would verify the existence of those who are willing and ready to do something if the worst-case comes to pass.
