A frenzy is building over the death of Trayvon Martin and Barack Obama is helping to fuel it. Initially Obama avoided the issue, saying it was a "local matter" but apparently later came to believe that he could score some political points by publicly opining.

The race hustlers also see an opportunity as well. They want the blood of George Zimmerman and they want it now.

Jesse Jackson:

"Our disparities are great. Targeting, arresting, convicting blacks and ultimately killing us is big business."

NEW YORK — Activists are planning "a wave of civil disobedience" to protest the shooting death of Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Fla., the Rev. Al Sharpton said Saturday.

The civil rights leader told supporters at his New York City headquarters that organizers would hold a series of nonviolent protests calling for the arrest of George Zimmerman, the crime watch volunteer who confronted the unarmed black teenager because he thought he looked "suspicious," and then shot him.

"It is important that we have sustained indignation," Sharpton said. "This is not where we are going to show that we are angry and go back home."

Sharpton called it a "paradox" that the country could elect a black man president, but still view young black men with suspicion simply because they don a hooded sweat shirt, like the one Martin was wearing when he was killed.

The New Black Panther Party has issued a "Wanted Dead or Alive" poster for Zimmerman.

Additionally, the Black Panther Party has placed a $10,000 bounty on Zimmerman:

SANFORD — Members of the New Black Panther Party are offering a $10,000 reward for the "capture" of George Zimmerman, the Neighborhood Watch volunteer who shot Trayvon Martin.

New Black Panther leader Mikhail Muhammad announced the reward during a protest in Sanford Saturday. And when asked whether he was inciting violence, Muhammad replied defiantly: "An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth."

The bounty announcement came moments after members of the group called for the mobilization of 10,000 black men to capture Zimmerman, who shot Trayvon in a gated Sanford community on Feb. 26.

Muhammad said members of his group would search for Zimmerman themselves in Maitland — where the 28-year old worked before the shooting, employees there told the Orlando Sentinel. He declined to say when the group would begin their search.

The article warns

Without a government-issued warrant, the organization opens itself up to civil or criminal liability, a lawyer said.

But they needn't worry. Eric Holder does not prosecute Black Panthers.

Thanks! That number seems to be right. Here in Milwaukee, we had 75 or so last year and at least a dozen so far this year.

Oddly enough, of late I have noticed a sharp decline in the number of “wildings”, flash mob store heists, and other such mass attacks against innocent random people in public places.

However, there has also been a marked increase in the number of legally armed people on the street as well.

This leads me to suspect that if one of these professional agitators manages to stimulate a riot or public disturbance, several rules will apply:

1) They might get away with another “Hey, let’s loot and burn down our own neighborhood!” riot, as they have done before. Beyond their own neighborhood, however, it would be far more problematic, as other people are not particularly thrilled with rioters and looters attacking their property.

2) The biggest threat is a running attack by a mob at a public event. These have happened a time or two before, but the risk of doing so with an armed citizenry has really jumped.

3) There has been a huge increase in fatalities of armed criminals meeting up with armed citizens, with the citizens winning. This will likely continue, but won’t get as much breathless prose in the media.

4) Black-on-anyone-else hate attacks are also going to be more likely, but I suspect that they, too, will be curtailed by CC weapons.
