That was my wife recently gushing over a fresh bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken. Her emphatic enthusiasm in her thick Venezuelan accent would make for a great KFC commercial. It was one of those things that you had to be there to appreciate.
Anyway, you get the idea of how much we enjoy KFC here. I find opening a fresh bucket of KFC to be positively intoxicating. Therefore I am always looking for good KFC deals. Yesterday, I thought I had a good deal with a 10 piece bucket for $11. However, at the same KFC restaurant, I saw a new poster for an even BETTER KFC deal.

When in San Antonio I usually get ruebens and Spaten Optimator in a frosted mug at Shilo’s deli or go to the Iron Cactus on the river walk or Mi Tierra for mexican food in the mercado
KFC is owned by PepsiCo and is part of a boycott by my family (along with Kraft and Nestlé). They have been reported to use kidney cells from aborted babies in an attempt to develop flavor enhancers. These three cover many of our favorite brands but it is a small price to pay.
As they say “google it if you don’t believe me”.

The irony is that the ONLY place you’ll find Church’s Chicken is in all black neighborhoods. Why spread a rumor about KFC, if you already have a loyal customer base?

I recently got a Double-Down sandwich. I loved it so much I went back for some more. Mrs. Liberty loves the chicken pot-pies, that are now back on the menu.
