Another day, another eyewitness

Facts are stubborn things.

On one hand the media is actively trying George Zimmerman. NBC/MSNBC leads the way by falsifying reports to make George Zimmerman look racist:

In a published report bylined "msnbc.com Staff and NBC News," a quote attributed to Trayvon Martin shooter George Zimmerman, appears to be purposefully distorted by the left to read as though Zimmerman is a racist. A full reading of the transcript of the quoted 911 call suggests nothing of the kind. Here's what MSNBC staff and NBC News published.

“This guy looks like he’s up to no good … he looks black,” Zimmerman told a police dispatcher from his car. His father has said that Zimmerman is Hispanic, grew up in a multiracial family, and is not racist.

The quote gives the impression Zimmer was somehow equating the fact that Martin was black with his looking suspicious, or "up to no good." Here is what MSNBC/NBC News left out thanks to a convenient ellipsis.

ZIMMERMAN: This guy looks like he's up to no good, [begin ellipsis] or he's on drugs or something. It's raining and he's just walking around, looking about.

911 DISPATCHER: Okay, is this guy, is he white, black, or Hispanic? [end ellipsis]

ZIMMERMAN: He looks black.

Not only did Zimmerman not equate Martin's skin color with his looking suspicious; he didn't even initiate the comment. It was simply a response to the police dispatcher. What the full quote does seem to make certain is that at that period in time, Zimmerman wasn't even positive as to what race Martin was. He was speculating based upon what he could determine at night in the rain to answer the police dispatcher.

ABC News doctored the Sanford PD video.

Mary Cutcher and Selma Lamilla saw.....something.

And Cutcher's roommate said something that Zimmerman's lawyer will want to pursue:

Lamilla said that after the shot was fired Zimmerman appeared to be pacing.

“He started walking back and forth like three times with his hand on the head and kind of, he was walking like kind of confused,” she said.

Lamilla said he was touching his head like “he was in shock.”

Hand on his head? Confused? Shock? Like maybe his head has been beaten?

After November a DOJ investigation should be started against NBC. They should be held accountable for their comments and severely punished.

Rush Limbaugh has been pounding NBC for how they edited this 911 tape to make Zimmerman look racist. He played the full 911 tapes to compare the NBC edited tape. They are exposed big time.

I think Zimmerman was pacing (assuming it’s true) because he didn’t intend to shoot anyone. Martin grabbed for Zimmerman’s gun (probably by the trigger) and Zimmerman tried to keep it from him.

Zimmerman stated that they were struggling over the gun and ... boom... Martin keeled over.

He likely thinks he pulled the trigger, and it is just as likely that in the struggle, the trigger was pulled inadvertantly.

I am so tired of all this “I am Trayvon” crap, I swear I’m going to start making t-shirts and hoodies that say “I am George Zimmerman”!

If George Zimmerman is a decent human being--the one possibility the media has ruled out of consideration from the start--of course he might be upset or confused in that situation. Here he was just trying to guard his neighborhood against burglaries, and all of a sudden he's got someone beating him up and threatening to kill him, and then there is a dead person there in front of him. He nearly got killed, but instead he is involved in the death of another person.

A Bill Clinton (Waco) or an Al Sharpton (Freddie's Fashion Mart) might be indifferent to the loss of life, but most decent people would be appalled to be part of it, even if they had done nothing wrong.

Never happen. But nothing prevents Zimmerman from suing, and winning. The thing to do is to sue journalism as such, not just NBC. How do you do that? You sue every journalism outlet which has prejudicial coverage - and you sue the Associated Press for homogenizing the coverage of all its outlets.

The AP is on thin ice, because it has been found to be in violation of the Sherman Antitrust Act. That was back in 1945, when its mission of transmitting the news economically across the telegraph wires made it “too big to fail.” In today’s world of the Internet enabled by optic fiber and lasers, and microwaves and satellites, the AP is no longer a justifiable monopoly, it is just a monopoly.

There are witnesses coming out of the wood work. Unless the police finished that investigation in record time how on earth could Tracy Martin and his fiancee not have heard about the shooting? It was on the same side of the complex as her condo. Down the sidewalk. Seriously, he didn’t call anyone to find his missing son until the morning? And Trayvon was “on the right track” according to his parents. In Sanford because he was suspended yet again. On the right track to what, prison?

If this was a David Zucker film, there would be hundreds of people stepping forward. A boy scout troop: “Yes, he shot Martin in cold blood!” A gaggle of nuns: “Yes, the 100% white guy did it!” Helen Keller: “I saw Zimmerman shoot him and I heard Martin calling for help!”
