"Oh, yeah! The guy on the right looks like Joe Elliott."

The guy on Alice's left is Glen Buxton and after he died the band was never the same. He was hard edge that made the early AC albums so great - the straw that stirred the drink.

That’s the real loss with CDs and online music. No more album art.

Yeah, but I think that will come back around. The medium will be different, but you still need to visually identify.

I dunno why I just think this video is appropriate here:

Summer Rooftop Ruckus

To the tune of dueling banjo's

Speaking of Def Leopard this doesn't necessarily remind me of Rick Allen, the one armed drummer!

Better than a one-armed violinist.

If Warrant never recorded that song, Jani Lane would probably still be alive today.

Taking a screen capture of WinAmp's visualization doesn't do it for you?

How about The Who, WHO’s NEXT album cover, as they are relieving themselves on the wall, backs to the camera?

Or “The Who Sell Out”, with Roger Daltrey sitting in a tub of Heinz Baked Beans.

Jani was one of my 80’s idols...

But seeing one of his very last live performances before he was fired (Rock the Bayou, 2008), it was obvious he was heading for disaster.

He was completely wasted, couldn’t remember his lyrics, and wanted to end an hour and a half set after 3 songs.

Erik and Joey had to talk him through each song before they sang it. It was sad. But it was coming.
