That’s the message from the GOP. Only 26% want to crown Mitt and call it a day. Only 32% of Republican voters think it should only be Romney and Rick. And 42% respond to the Romney/Rick show with “none of the above.”
There are a couple of reasons for this in my opinion. First, it is clear that many of us find RINO Romney simply the wrong rival to wrest control from the Cloward-Piven in Chief. It turns out even the GOP INSIDERS may agree as Joe Scarborough spills in this morning spew:

It is sickening. When you have Drudge, Krauthammer, Coulter and MSM all helping to stake the deck. Obama and the Democrats are picking the one they prefer to run against. You have a perfect storm against Newt. He is a courageous warrior looking out for the country, teaching American history and culture along the way. It’s a shame the way the Establishment and all the Rinos continue to disregard the lessons of history. The one guy who could debate Obama decisively has been assassinated. It is a shame that an elitist multibillionaire has been picked for our leader with motto just like Obama, “We believe.”

And romney has only gotten 41% of the vote in states where there has been one?

Come on. Isn’t it obvious that Romney would do nothing to fix the problems of the nation? He would maintain the mess. Perhaps stop it from getting worse.
He has no bold ideas he is willing to fight for. He supports only what is popular with the voters he is after.
He will be an easy target of Obama’s class warfare attacks.

I personally love Newt.
But the fact is he is bankrupt, meaning no ads, no campaigning, nothing. No more debates, and the lib states like NY and CA will go for Romney big time.
Newt lost in Alabama, Mississippi AND Louisiana the southern strategy didn't work.
He did pretty much 0 campaigning in IL which is why myself, family and friends decided to throw our support behind Rick.

I feel the same way. I WILL NOT EVER vote for Romney, no matter who he picks as VP. IF the “establishment” is going to keep ignoring me, then this time they WILL NOT get my backing. This was NEVER a fair contest in the way it was run. Of course, I WILL NOT vote for the Obamanation, but I will probably leave that portion of the ballot blank and just vote for Congress and Senate conservative Repubs.
The primary process is horrible flawed when a “not really liked” candidate like Romney can win. The RNC really blew a chance to unseat Obama this cycle.
Manipulation and statistics don’t mix well.

He was actually number 1 in the polls several times, but the misleading stories from GOPee, LSM, and Romney's ads have really taken a toll.
I expect him to stay in as long as possible in order to have as big an impact as possible on policy and platform.
As long as Newt’s in, Obama can’t unload on Romney affectively. Romney will be the nominee, but Santorum and Newt are drawing fire away from him. Okay, Santorum is drawing the fire, Newt is at the point where he’s hurting Mitt’s only threat. For some reason the lots of GOP voters think Santorum is the best conservative. I’m exhausted.
