Allen West and Tom Rooney are forgetting their oath to "support and defend the Constitution"
Coach is Right ^ | 4/5/2012 | Kevin "Coach" Collins

Both Tea Party favorite Allen West and moderate Republican Tom Rooney are noticeable by their inaction on the findings of Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s definitive six month long investigation into possible “fraud and forgery” of key Obama documents.

When asked if they were worried about a man having control of America’s nuclear arsenal when his social security number was not passing an E verify check, press talkers of both sitting U.S. House of Representative members either said nothing or said this isn’t as important as putting Americans back to work or doing something about high gas prices. Besides, as Allen West’s person said, “There’s not enough time for Congress to do something (hold hearings).”

The two retired Army veterans now serving in Congress are taking no action on the refusal of Congress to investigate the problems surrounding Barack Obama’s eligibility to serve as America’s President even though they swore to oaths to protect her Constitution, first and foremost. Rooney is uprooting his family from Tequesta, Florida, and relocating to Charlotte County so he can run for the newly drawn 17th House District.

A Captain in the Army who taught Constitutional Law at West Point Military Academy, Rooney, of the Steelers’ Rooneys, served...

Tom’s brother Brian ran in Michigan’s 7th district in 08 and got stomped in the primary thank God. He decided to go fundraising with uber RINO Joe Schwarz on the day of the right to life banquet and it finished him off.

Their uncle is a big Obama booster who Obama appointed to be ambassador to Ireland.

Allen West’s battelfield experience taught him that “support and defend” doesn’t not demand that you wander in the open making an unnecessary target of yourself.

Freshmen have to tread lightly and Allen West has a big footprint as far as freshmen go.

When the big wigs of your own party are turning a blind eye, what choice does he have at this time?

This is foolish poppycock.

As veterans, they know they cannot fight every battle. Anyone with an IQ of over 7 knows there is no national taste for a constitutional challenge to Obama’s eligibility.

This is again an example of how some fools are wasting FR and FReeper time with needless non-issues.

Coach is not right, nor is he Right. He should rename his site “Koach is a Kook”

poppycock?

Obama has his finger on our nuclear arsenal and no one and I mean no one has actually checked or seen the man's ID. There is no taste for a challenge because our media and our elected officials are not MAKING at taste for it by doing their job. It's so inexcusable I'm at a loss to explain it.

My comment was simply that this Coach guy was foolish to go after West and Rooney because he isn’t leading the charge to remove Obama.

When “Coach” accuses them of “forgetting their duty to support and defend the Constitution” over this... that’s poppycock.

Birthers are willing to throw any solid conservative under the bus if they won't play along...oh yeah...and Pravda is now our ally in defending the Constitution.

Here's what I learned from advocating fundamental tax reform for 20 years:
Congress isn't going to act on anything as toxic as the eligibility issue until they feel sufficiently threatened (e.g., reelection endangered) or perceive a compelling incentive (e.g., retirement-level kickbacks).

And how sad is that?!

Even Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX), purported Constitutional champion, refused to act on this issue in Jan. 2009, saying that if he made an objection to the Electoral College vote to challenge Obama's eligibility he'd be laughed out of Congress.

It seems like there must be a compelling news event - like a massive public demonstration on the level of the Vietnam or Civil Rights protests or an E.T. encounter - to get this thing moved off of dead center.

Until then, Congress feels confident that they can afford to blow this off.

“This is again an example of how some fools are wasting FR and FReeper time with needless non-issues.”

Sorry you feel the Constitution is a “needless non-issue.”

I guess it doesn’t bother you that at a minimum a felon (forged birth certificate(s), selective service records, and stolen SS#)and at a maximum a usurper is squatting in the White House.

No wonder our news media sucks. They don’t have IQ’s over 7 points.

What’s even worse is that they watched Lt. Col. Lakin who WAS upholding and defending the Constitution be sent to Leavenworth. Not a peep out of them.

Unconscionable.

I see Allen as a Coward. No need to reply. I will just ignore it.

As I said:

This is foolish poppycock

As veterans, they know they cannot fight every battle. Anyone with an IQ of over 7 knows there is no national taste for a constitutional challenge to Obama’s eligibility.

Why would and others blame Rooney and West for this national problem?

"Why would and others blame Rooney and West for this national problem?"

WTF??? Because it's their job. They are congressmen.

Anyone with an IQ of over 7 knows there is no national taste for a constitutional challenge to Obama’s eligibility.

Upholding the Constitution is not a popularity contest. It's the law of the land. Too bad they don't know or respect it.

Crimes have been committed here. At a minimum Obama is a felon.

Newly elected or re-elected Members of Congress – the entire House of Representatives and one-third of the Senate – must recite an oath:

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.[58]

I don't see anything about a popularity contest mentioned, do you?

“Anyone with an IQ of over 7 knows there is no national taste for a constitutional challenge to Obama’s eligibility.”

How do you know? Your buddies in the PROPAGANDA media have such contempt for their audience that they don’t even bother to inform them of what is actually going on. Brian Williams won’t even mention Fast and Furious. You think the populace is even informed?

When they are forced in any small measure to actually even discuss this topic they lie and preface every story with:

Fringe birthers
Debunked
He’s a citizen (not natural born)
Blah, blah, blah

They want to keep their audience stupid and politically correct.

Have you even watched Sheriff Joe’s press conference?

So you would have Conservatives complain about and not support two of the most conservative members of Congress because they are not trying to hard enough to satisfy you to get Obama thrown out of office on the NBC issue ....

And we wonder why we lose elections.......

Sure change the subject.

I would have them abiding by their sworn oaths to uphold the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

They are currently aiding and abetting. This is treasonous.

“to get Obama thrown out of office on the NBC issue ....”

Obama should be put in Leavenworth (Lt. Col. Lakin’s old cell) if a citizen, and Gitmo if he is a foreigner. While he awaits trail as either a felon or an enemy combatant.

“And we wonder why we lose elections.......”

Again, WTF???

So we are supposed to re-elect those who willingly stay silent while the biggest crime ever perpetrated against the United States continues unabated?

So much for picking those brave men who cave because they want to keep their jobs and perks while not defending the Constitution.

They wouldn’t even speak up for one of their own, Lt. Col. Lakin.
