Ah, yet another "opus" from a disgruntled FReeper. I have been on FR off and on since 2001 (not a founder, I admit) under four different user-names, largely because there are Moderator's here who have more zeal than sense (and no sense of what the '/sarc' tag means).
I got busted for saying in January 2008 what JimRob said yesterday - "no RINO's, no WAY". Back then, I got zotted for saying that I'd frankly prefer a Dumb0 election to a McCain one since Dumb0 would finally wake Americans up to what the left REALLY wants: chaos, race-riots and totalitarianism, while McCain would slowly, somnambulantly, lead us down that same path like frogs in a slowly warming pan waiting to boil to death.
It turns out, I was right. 70% of Americans now understand that Dumb0 is a threat to our freedoms. Gun and ammo sales are through the roof. Dumb0's race riot/gender wars/submission to foreign powers narrative is now clear for all to see - and most Americans reject it.
What is also clear to see is that LSM members are nothing more than paid operatives of the progressive movement in America. Readership of newspapers, ratings of LSM news channels, is at an all-time low.
Today, I got a thread pulled for making what I thought was a perfectly valid point:
Dumb0 says (in the Trayvon Martin/George Zimmeron case) that quote:"If I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon" unquote. My follow up to that was: Oh, so Dumb0 believes that "all blacks look alike?" If a white guy had said that basically "all blacks look alike", he'd be pilloried in the media. Yet Dumb0 gets away with it.
Seemingly minor point, but it didn't make it past the "crossing guard for the day" Sidebar Moderator (and it was in "Bloggers/Personal" - I wasn't even shooting for the serious rubrics).
I can handle arrogance and I can handle ignorance. If you really know what you're talking about you can treat me like dirt as I try to learn from you. If you're ignorant and want to learn, I'll take my time to try to teach you.
But I can't handle both: people who are both arrogant and ignorant (including the majority of lefties -and, unfortunately, some FR moderators) earn nothing but my scorn.
I'll undoubtedly stop back again to read the posts and comments here (which are, for the most part, awesome). But I'm about to get my login yanked so won't bother ever posting again.

Keep your powder dry: If conservatives run a third party candidate, say hello to another four years of Dumb0, and the end of the American dream.

Hey, I’ve been on the wrong side of the mods too (even got a short term suspension or two), but for the most part they do a great job in a difficult situation. Herding cats isn’t easy.
And admitting you are a re-tread is a major fail on your part.
