It’s a fact that there are some women who could possibly be good Infantry officers in my beloved Corps, but for the most part this is a dumb move. I spent 23 years in the Marine Corps. I spent time in combat units and time in support units. There is a bond between Marines in combat units that isn’t as intense in support units. Flame me if you want to, but the dynamic changes the minute a woman becomes part of a unit. You can feel it. Marines become more subdued, the trust level falls, and the female is resented because she does not have to maintain the same physical standards as her male counterparts. These are my observations over a period of 23 years. It may not be PC but it is the truth as I experienced it.

Truth by its very definition is non-PC. PC can be defined as the government making everyone say lies are true as this one: “there’s absolutely no difference between men and women in absolutely any area of life.”

The book "Chesty" has a story about a Marine Chaplain, Otto Sporrer, winning a Silver Star for his actions at Chosin.

That true story shows that heros come in all shapes and sizes.
