In an unusual move, George Zimmerman took the witness stand Friday to apologize to the parents of Trayvon Martin for fatally shooting their 17-year-old son. Assistant prosecutor Bernardo de la Rionda took the opportunity to grill the neighborhood watch volunteer about some of the statements he made to police.
Here's a partial transcript of Zimmerman's testimony:
Zimmerman: I wanted to say I am very sorry for the loss of your son. I did not know how old he was. I thought he was a little bit younger than I am, and I did not know if he was armed or not.....

Buford, that was before the prosecutor filed her 2nd degree charges. While these two attorneys were holding their press conference, Zimmerman (or his family) was retaining one of FL’s top criminal defense attorneys, O’Mara. This is an outdated article.

I think that picture of the bloody head was the most influential thing held back by someone who just wanted the entire situation to explode...they succeeded!

Wow. Alleged. I missed that. Those dirtbags. I really hope Z. sues all the media outlets who’ve slandered and libeled him.
Till this article, the most I’d heard about the hearing (other than clips of Zimmerman’s apology) was an attorney on Andy Parks show, who also said having Zimmerman testify/ apologize was brilliant legally.
