Statistics show a deep divide in opinions along racial lines regarding the killing of a black Florida teenager, Trayvon Martin, by George Zimmerman, who is of mixed ethnicity, white and Hispanic.
Zimmerman has claimed self-defense, invoking the Sunshine State’s “Stand Your Ground” law which has also come under intense scrutiny in the wake of the incident.
Reuters news service reported last week, 91% of blacks believe Martin was unjustly killed, while only 35% of whites concurred. Hispanics were in between at 59% according to polling numbers Reuters gathered by querying nearly 2,000 Americans.
The disparity of views over Martin’s death is even less ambiguous than another racially charged case, the O.J. Simpson murder trial.

My girlfriends brother was a cop in Chicago during those times and what the papers never told you was what the idiots were really doing (like now)..They would drive nails through tennis balls and throw at the cops, bags of feces and urine lobbing golf balls at the copes. etc etc etc....

I hated those spoiled little rich-kid bastards in the 60s when I had to deal with them every day at school, and I hate them even more now when they have power in government.
All witnesses, including neighbors and police and EMTs and coroner's techs can be questioned in one day. The whole incident unfolded in just a few minutes. There is, essentially, no more information to gather besides what we already know - except, perhaps, the TM's autopsy report (which is likely to tell us nothing.)
IMO, the trial can be all over within a week. The prosecution asserted a bunch of stuff ("profiled", "continued to follow") that would be impossible to prove and quite possible to disprove. Basically, nothing matters among what GZ and TM did prior to the physical altercation. They could look at each other, run away from each other, hide and seek, exchange words... none of that is illegal, and the threshold for stalking is much higher than the prosecutor implies. Otherwise I'd be stalking hundreds of people whenever I go to a grocery store.

To summarize, bear spray against a group of rioters will likely result in a slow and painful death. The spray can be of use only to gain a very temporary advantage and then run away as fast as you can. If you are surrounded in the house, the attackers will simply burn the house down unless you make it into a very, very costly (for them) exercise.

The police were no where to be found. The air was smoky and ash was falling down like a light drizzle. You could’nt get the smoke out of you nose. The public bus service shut down for several days and I had to walk the five miles from work to home. Lucky that I had a ride to work in the morning. A lot of people resorted to bicycles (several people way out of shape) riding on sidewalks because they were to afraid to ride in the streets. There was a early curfew enacted and neighbors sat on rooftops armed including my hubby. I felt a lot better when they sent in the National Guard. Of course the closes places for looting to my home was a Circuit City and the Max Factor museum to steal Madonna’ bra.

The SOB Muslim Major Nidal Hasan murdered 13 innocent people and had 32 attempted counts of murder in Nov. 2009. Where is the outcry? You can thank the media and Obama for these delays. Now the trial has been postphoned to October 2012. Wonder why?

Mass. was busing Black kids in from the city to the suburbs voluntarily at the end of the eighties when we lived there. White kids, however, were not being forced to travel to “diverse” areas. The black children whose parents wanted to educate their kids outside the city, traveled long hours to reach the suburban schools. They also had special tutoring so they would not fail in school and get into college. It cost alot of money.
They also had magnet schools which tried to lure in white kids to black schools - it was like a special, mostly segregated school within a school. Political lefties did this with their kids. I thought it was like decorating a place with skin as the kids were not integrated culturally at all. They had no common culture or common ground unless the white kids wanted to play political and social punching bag for the black adults in the school. The kids were kept separate in values, hearts and minds and classes.
I am glad segregation era physical and legal structures were broken down although liberals were too mean to figure out ways to do it right and would not allow integration into an American-American melting pot which they named “white.” The biggest jump was section 8 housing vouchers and the destruction of liberalism's terrible ghetto reservations (concentrated housing) in the cities.
When my son was in middle school and they had just gone heavy in “multiculturalism” which is racist tribal doctrines they standardized and spread nationally, he came home and told me that I am the only person who does not believe that skin defines people. That is why I started studying what the elitists were up to. :(

But they already are. Zimmerman was charged and arrested to placate the racial mobs. Corey had no new information, she was simply instructed by our spineless Governor, “Zimmerman must be charged and put behind bars.” I’m sure he would eagerly convict him to placate the racist mobs too but that’s liable to be tougher since the evidence against Zimmerman is so thin.
You think the author is sending a message to Zimmerman that being a mentor to the black kid in the inner city for three years is not enough. Now Zimmerman must give up ten years of his life for black racism?
Zimmerman would be mentally ill to give into or take for real all these Black race hate screeches and threats. He needs to get this trial over and move to Texas where half the population looks like him. He just needs change his name to Mexican, grow some face hair and he’s good to go. If someone asks him if he’s Zimmerman, he can pull the race card and tell them they think all Mexicans look alike. :)
